I agree with you guys, Listen to several experts..SO McKenzie, Dregger, Malloy on 1040 radio explained nobody was offering anything for Vanek..If Canucks would of kept Vanek the fans would of been upset ?? 

Vanek is 34 been around the league and general managers have been burned with this player over the last 5 yrs..

I disagree only a small percentage of athletes demand trades every year..Maybe 4-5 NHL players every year and there 900 players?

Young players can't demand trade other wise teams target them as a problem player ext..
