A Down is a 4th line / AHL guy... A player adds a lot more as a second line player if he add grit with his skill like a Kesler?????????? Not many skilled guys that have a aggressive side with Talent..

That goes for any leagues? Look how many top top NHL picks don't turn out.. Thing about Gaudette is he is a complete player 200 foot game, We are seeing so many players come out of college and they play such a complete game.. We Don't know how he will be but odds are looking good that he will be a very good NHL player after what he has done at college level leading scorer.... Grit, skill, 200 foot game very complete player

It will be very interesting to see how the centre position plays out! See Pettersson has played his last 3 games as a centre.... All that I am saying is Gaudette will have the talent to be a #2 centre, Bo is a very good centre and getting better all the time 17-5 in face-off against LA.. Good to have these good problems BO, Gaudette, Pettersson at centre...

Gaudette will make the team next year for sure , he has more talent then Dowd right now and more skill then Gaunce..Oh he play with grit something missing on this team.. Sure hope we go after Chris Stewart 6'2, 240 tough and can play on 3rd and 4th line...We really need a Chris Stewart in the line up with all these young players coming along...

Gaudette will be a #2 centre and will play with grit and lots of talent..Very similar to Ryan Kesler...

Yes I think Lind and Gadjovich will both be playing playoff games for there respective Jr teams....Maybe we might see Dahlen play for Utica as there playoffs should be finished before April..

Yes Lind is playing with so much confidence and great skill. I look up game summary after every Rockets game.. This young man has gone crazy after being cut for World Jr team.. I can see Kole Lind starting on farm team next year and in 1-2 yrs he will be a top 9 forward for the Canucks..Very excited

I agree that Gaudette and Juolevi with both make the Canucks next year... Really like how Juolevi is playing for his Finland club 17points in 25 games under the close coaching of Salo.. This Gaudette pick in the 5th round was a steel.. I think he will step right into NHL and play 3 and 4th line centre, so excited as he will add grit and talent only 21, 6'1, 195 lbs with lots of skill # 2 centre very soon.. Juolevi with match up with Tanev next season and turn into a #2 D man vey soon...

Yes we were very lucky to get Kole Lind at 33rd in last years draft. A few draft sites had Kole Lind Ranked at 22nd..Lind just had another 4 point night, giving him 66 points in 38 games.. He has past Glass in points now and played less games.. Vancouver has some real exciting players now, Pettersson,Goldobin, Dahlen, Gaudette, Lind, Gadjovich, Joulevi, Demko, Brisbois, McEneny, Brassard, Gunnarson..It will be interesting which prospects make the jump next year.. I say Gaudette will sign after his college season is over and will be in the lineup and a regular next season.. I think Pettersson might make the team also, with Lind, Gadjovich, Dahlen will start in Utica and maybe see a few NHL games with injuries in 2018-19..

Yes this young man, he should be 3rd line centre in Vancouver next year, really like this pick. He plays tough and has good skill, steel of draft in 5th round.. Awesome drafting Jim Benning and scouts.

Yes I agreeBut Gudbranson can fight with heavyweights...Cant imagine if Bieksa had Gudbranson"s size and weight...Would be a scary Bieksa..Both great leadership.. Bieksa tough guy for 6'0 195 lbs

I agree with your post, Gudbranson could make a big difference if he plays the way he did at end of 2015-2016 season in Florida.. We have lacked toughness on defence for years..Very excited with the team now and in 3 years with these prospect coming up..

I agree with what you said.. I really think Virtanen will be a big surprise he knows what coach Green expects spending most of last season in Utica. I am very excited with a the good young prospects we have in system to follow..Lots of competition in camp this year with new guys like Gagner, Vanek, Del Zotto and few other vets.. We will be in playoffs in 3yrs... Go Canucks Go

We all forget how well Gudbranson played in 2015-2016 being the best Dman with Florida in the playoffs averaging 25 mins per game.. He had a good regular season as well that year and he was 23 years old.. Lets see how he plays after 40 games this season being health.. Last season wrist was injured after game 20 and just got worse and season was over after 30 games.. This guy will be a very aggressive steady stay home D man, PK guy and clearing net quick pass out of zone.... Can see him matched with Del Zotto... will avg 20 mins a game

Shinkaruk is not scoring 15 goals in AHL? Big talent difference between Grandlund 19 G NHL ) and ( Shinkaruck, 15 G AHL) Last I looked Shinkaruck is still in AHL..

Grandlund is a 20 goal scorer in the NHL now a days is very good.. Look most team 4-5 guys with over 20 goals.. Grandlund has talent and I knew it with his AHL stats and world u20 he was very good.. Great trade again JB

Kerfoot is a small forward and not as skilled as the following extra Canucks ? Rodin,Goldobin, Boucher, Gaunce, Vitanen.. Kerfoot is years away from NH, if he even makes it..Utica guy 100%

Great great post I have to agree with you 100% Really think Gaunce will be a new guy with lots of confidence knowing coach Green. SO I feel Gaunce and Virtanen will be new players with lots of confidence and will both make team.. I could see Dorsette being odd man out, he brings toughness but we have talented other forwards.. I would rather keep Pedan play 4th line when we need toughness and extra D man.. Pedan can play D and we know he can move fast and fight.. Pedan over Dorsette..Really want Pedan on team..

We picked Boucher up off waivers, he will be picked up by another club if we send him down!! Gaunce is in the same situation.. Can see Dorsette being bought out or sent down? Look at opening night roster?? Goldobin can be sent down but he is ready for NHL. Maybe we will have more trades and package some players rather then lose them on waivers.

I agree with you I really like Boucher.. Lines this year? !. Bartschi - Bo - Bouchar 2.Sedin- Sedin- Boeser 3.Grandlund - Sutter - Erickson 4.Gagner - Burmistrov- Goldobin, Extra forwards = Virtanen, Gaunce, (Dorsette might be bought out? Virtanen could easily be on line with Bo add toughness.. Gaunce or Boucher would be picked up by other teams if we try and send them to minors.. We have extra players so Dahlen will play in Utica or back to Sweden. I feel Gaunce could have a break through season under Green, Gaunce will have more confidence. Really like Boucher also, he has lots of talent...

I sure hope draft Cody Glass 6'2 185lbs sosomuch talent..Glass puts up 92points age 17yrs old on a weaker Winterhawks team. Glass lead team in scoring, I feel Glass with be 6'3, 210 when finished growing.. In 2 years he will be a very good player being a top centre on NHL team. Really want Cody Glass with #5 pick...Or if we get #3 pick still take CODY GLASS.... This young man is going to dazzle fans with amazing natural talent..
