Then the new ultimate fighter returns. I am looking forward to that though because Big Nog is a coach. Theyve always had american vs american, but now we are going to get a chance to see how the brazilians do it. Nog isnt one to screw around and it will be interesting to see how he deals with his students if they start messing around.

Georges read somewhere that people use to do that a long time ago in war and it would bring good luck or something. Then everyone started wondering why GSP did it, so Rashad did it to mess with everyone. I dont think GSP roids it up. Did you see him at UCC (now TKO) the dudes been ripped since a teenager. He said he had a 6 pack at age 7 crazy genes.

Liddell needs to come up with a new strategy. The dude does the exact same thing over and over. Circle, circle punch... circle.. circle punch. He was an awesome wrestler, he should take guys down, pound them out. Go for submissions. Make it a 3 pronged attack type of thing. Until Rashad KO'd him it seemed like a boring fight. Circling over and over. Chuck fights more like a boxer than an MMA guy.

yeah that was the angle that made me think something might have gone wrong too. It looked like his spinal cord shifted away from his head, brutal brutal KO! his head twisted oddly too. on a side note did anyone notice some of the fighters twisting their nipples lately last ufc gsp licked his lips then twisted his nipples, now rashad. Seems there is something hot n heavy going on at the Greg Jackson Camp hah. they both dropped their opponents... so maybe there is something to this nipple thing.

im guessing your forgot about checking ufc 56 again then was the post fight interview there where GSP asks for a title shot and says Fairly Squarely? If theres no audio or video and you are watching it on your Divx Home player chances are that it will work on your computer. It probably wasnt encoded with DIVX/XVID.

todays UFC should be pretty cool. I like to see Dan Henderson fight. Palahares is suppose to be good even though unknown. Matt Brown vs Dong Hyun Kim should be interesting too. Dong is an interesting welterweight. They air his fight in Korea and its a huge thing that hes in the UFC. hopefully he does well. Matt Hamill vs Franklin.. well Franklin has decided to fight at his natural weight. I hope Hamill destroys him because I think Rich is too overhyped. Hes good but not great. He too benefited off a crappy middleweight to get his fighter status. I dunno about Liddell/ Jackson. I think thats going to be a snooze fest. All chuck does is look for the knock out. He doesnt take someone to the ground for submissions or wrestle or anything really. He stands and waits. If the KO comes he wins, if not then its a boring fight with the 2 guys circling each other for 25 min. Rashad is a good fighter but i dont think he has the skill level to do much. It will be like Fitch vs GSP except it will end in 3 to Chuck i think.

id actually like to see BJ lose trying to fight his way up to the champion in WW. A loss vs Kos or Fitch etc would ruin his rep. killing his ego!

yeah BJ is suppose to fight in December but not against GSP. His brother JD said it will be against someone else. GSP vs BJ is slated for FEb 2009 at the very least. They want it for the superbowl weekend. With BJ peaking for the Dec fight im thinking he will want to fight again in March. But he could fight in Feb. Well what im thinking is that BJ should just take 1 more fight at LW against the top contender. Only problem is that they are saying Florian will fight the winner of Tyson Griffin and someone. So that will probably happen down the road. I think Florian blew his chance when he lost to Sherk, so now he has to wait. I would say give griffin a title shot in Dec against BJ. Then if BJ wins move up to WW have 2 fights against WW guys and then GSP. BJ vs Matt Serra was a very close fight. You could even do BJ vs Serra II as a warmup but Serra is fighting Hughes. BJ vs 2 guys in WW then titleshot. I think it would be smarter for both of them. I dont think they have PPV %s on their contract right now. GSP is getting a new deal done and so is BJ contract wise. If they put ppv% down and win 2 more matches it will create more hype and get a cut of more money for both of them. BJ has much more competition at WW than LW. LW division is better in dream. Id like to see him fight Shiny Aoki, JZ Calvan, Gomi (gomi is much better now than their first match when he started his career) joachim hansen, eddie alvarez but since these guys are in dream LW BJ should just move to WW after 1 title defence and then wait until UFC LW division gets better to go back. I think BJ is a great fighter but for once the guy needs to fight his way up to a champion. No more straight title shots. This will be his forth at WW (including top contender fight) straight shot at hughes the first time straight shot at GSP when he returned straight shot at hughes II even after he lost and now straight shot at GSP II after he lost. He needs to win at WW for a change against top guys. Its not fair to the other guys in WW that lose and work their way up like Sanchez and Karo who have been stuck working their way up for a while.

I think its an actual bad plan by the UFC and something other MMA sites have talked about as well. Its good for the short run but horrible for the long run. I guess first of all this fight hasnt even been signed, so we are not sure if it will happen soon. GSP said he wants to talk some months off and does not want to fight till early 2009. 2nd, if this is on Dana is hoping that GSP wins this one. He has to, if not then Dana is bonkers. If BJ wins the WW he will have to defend that and the LW title. He obviously wont be fighting right after one another. Meaning this will double the time that LW's and WW's will have to wait for a title shot. Instead of seeing a WW title on the line every 4-5 months it will be everything 8-9 months. That means less money for the UFC because less title shots in the long run. I think this fight would make more sense if BJ loses his LW title if he moves up. Then if he loses he has to stay in WW and work his way to the top for once. Theres actually more better matches at WW for BJ first. BJ vs Alves, Koz, Fitch, revenge on Hughes. Having him work his way up to fight GSP would be even better and hype the fight more. At the moment its pretty lame. He will go up, if he loses then he will go back to LW like nothing ever happened. If he wins the LW & WW divisions would be in a bind.

yeah the last one was better than the first one. is the full card listed for that oct card? I heard Gina will fight Cyborg and Kimbo might fight Brett Rogers. This would be pretty interesting because Brett is undefeated too.. (although the competition has been iffy too) I want to see Kimbo lose just so all the people who think hes an MMA god will finally come to reality.

Fedor is a better p4p fighter than Anderson by far. Id like to see BJ actually work his way up in WW than get an automatic title shot without even fight anyone else. His last win at WW was in 2004.. This is a stupid move by the UFC. If GSP wins.. well hes a bigger guy he was suppose to. If he loses this screws everything up. If BJ holds both WW and LW titles at the same time then the WW and LW will have wait 1 year for every title shot. BJ will fight one at WW and then one at LW and more time inbetween than normal people to drop and gain all the weight. If BJ actually thinks hes that good he should go to WW and stay there. Work his donkey up to see. If he loses against GSP hes just going to go back to LW again for a couple years until Dana lets him have another title shot at WW without proving nothing.

yeah, and at the ufc 87 press conference he told reporters that the crazyness had a lot do with splitting with his trainer Juanito. There are some rumours that Janito ripped Jackson off of some money. Not sure whats going on there..

Thanks for the offer johnny but I already have a copy. Problem is that I didnt see the post fight speech in good quality. Its the famous one where GSP asks for the title shot and gets on his knees and instead of saying fair and square.. he says "fairly squarely" haha. So i was hoping you had the pay ppv version. If you have some time soon (cause i think its going to take a looooooooong time for you to get to 56 if you are watching from the beginning) hehe if you could just pop in 56 and fast forward it to the end of the fight to see if there is a speech there or if it cuts off in Sherk vs GSP. I just wanted a 5 min clip of that. Or are these all burned dvd copies? where its one UFC per dvd. If these are all dvds then dont worry about it, because then you have to extract it, divx it then splice the video.. If its just a divx it takes 2 minutes to cut out a bit.

im actually looking for the GSP intro in UFC 56. They took it out of the official dvd, and all the torrents for it are dvd rips. Was hoping to find the ppv rip. Does your UFC 56 have GSP's intro and him talking in the post fight against Sean Sherk?

word is that Rampage will fight Shogun for the new years show. check out the crowd reaction.. everyone gets school girl giddy when shogun answers. although shogun is an awesome fighter.. i was hoping Rampage would fight Wanderlei Silva. They both hate each other. Shogun vs Chuck would have been a better fight like previously planned.
