If you look at his stats, his shots per game has dropped way off from Rochester and from earlier this season... needs to go back to shooting more. He hasn't seem quite as engaged lately.

I've been following since last season, and you can see his speed out there in pretty much any Wolves game. Maybe it's because you've seen him 'his whole career' so he doesn't seem all that fast to you anymore but he was the 2nd fastest guy or something on the Wolves last year, behind only Billy Sweatt. Just because he doesn't blaze around doesn't mean he doesn't have that speed to begin with. You can see it on rushes and 2-on-1's.

Was anyone reminded of Byfuglien's series-winner against the Sharks when Kassian scored that 3rd goal in front of the net? Save for the rebound, it was almost the same exact scenario, after a pass by the RW from the left corner. Very smilar maneuver to score it too.

Yep, it would make sense given his production with those two. Was he on that line again today? It's sweet to see him finally get his first goal. Should've had one earlier on this season if it weren't for Desbiens' stupidity.

First of all, the value coming back in that proposal is not even CLOSE to worth it for us. You're making Bjugstad out to be the equivalent of some star prospect. While he's a good one, he's not worth an elite goaltender in Luongo alone, let alone Luongo+. And Clemmensen plus the 3rd aren't enough to make up the difference. And second, he was going to get his chance with the Canucks had there not been a lockout. If you have a crystal ball, why not predict the winning lottery winning numbers while you're at it?

Have you been watching the Wolves this year? His speed has been evident. He's not MayRay in that he blazes around the rink all the time, but he can still turn on the jets when he needs to and we've seen it happen.

If his linemates can't finish, then it's up to him to start being more selfish and shoot more, which is what happened last season, and what he needs to keep doing IMO. Even with Kassian on his line.

He did well when playing on the wing with a good offensive centre in Hodgson - hopefully he'll be productive as well if put at RW with Kesler. Other than that though, I have no problem with him being 3C where he's already very comfortable.

Btw, remember when people thought Hodgson-Schroeder would be our own poor man's version of Toews-Kane? Good times.

You know it's a sad state of the game is in when people are worrying about size again. Unfortunate, and it shouldn't have to be this way. The skill element has all been pushed out by obstruction, interference etc.

Desbiens has been worse than useless this year, other than a few fights really. Maybe it's just me but to me it feels like he's actually hurting the team when he's out there. Talk about a major regression from his days with the Moose.
