Last year I went to 4 games at the start of the season... all losses and just bad, uninspired hockey.
As soon as Bruce was hired I was back to the games and caught 8 more. Win or lose, hockey was fun again.
The way management has conducted themselves over the offseason to now makes following this team so much less fun, and a lot of it has to do with how they're going about Bruce's career here.
This man brought joy into a lifeless and directionless town, and he's being cast aside like a devilled egg that which has become covered in ants at a picnic in August.
I expect the fans to chant him mercilessly all night, and if I lived near the arena, this would be the 1 and only game I go to just to voice my appreciation for such a great person.
