    Kinda game where we need Burrows to get us goin'...anyways, win da'turd!

    Same could be said for garrison hamhuis at least elder hits something those two can't say.

    I could have said that about pretty much all of our defencemen, but I don't want my keyboard to work any harder than they are doing now. It won't be fair to my keyboard.

    I can see Edler is definitely back to his old self now. And that's why some of us missed him so much... It all makes sense.

    Please Edler, do more of your thing -- coughing up the puck, shooting at a defender's shin pad, making passes from (our) tape to (their) tape and taking dumb panalties.

    And you also have NTC. Don't be afraid of abusing its power.

    The league has figured them out and Daniel has completely changed the type of player he used to be... he used to be a sniper who could pot 30+ goals easily now he's a mix between a play maker and...... well, just a play maker.

    Only when he is not breaking our own plays.

    Instead of call-ups, can we just swap the entire team with Utica (with the exception of goalies)?

    This Canuck team is showing absolutely zero intensity, hustle or emotion. Any AHL team would play with more hearts than these tourists.

    Nucks showed they can play straight up against bigger and stronger team, with playoff-like intensity and focus. Nucks also showed they wouldn't allow baddies to take liberties with our key players either.

    Now, how often we'll see such a spirited performance from the entire team? That's a different story and the biggest problem Torts still has to work on. Even Sedins were throwing hard body checks tonight and even a hip check (!) For the first time in a while I saw the whole team really working like one.

    The end result was the same though. Kings escaped unscathed again with a lucky goal from a breakaway and we just couldn't bury one when needed.

    Gillis, please open your eyes and pull the trigger. We desperately need a top 6 scorer who can put the puck into the back of the net, even with a single scoring chance.

    We fought hard, but still nothing to show for... DAMN the Kings and Quick! All the more reason we need to trade for a true sniper in our top 6.

    At least we showed the LA freaks we won't be pushed around anymore.

    My best moment of the game? Kesler beating the crap of the dirty rat Brown. Unfortunately it was also the rat who scored... Double DAMN!

    Hope the boys still have enough left for Anaheim Wednesday.
