It's quite warm again with temperatures around 20 °C after we had a chilly first September half.

I'm not worried about a lack of work, but about a lack of exciting work, lol. Nah, I'll still spend more than enough time on the ambulance.

No, I couldn't catch any of the preseason games so far. I have only seen the highlights.

I'm doing fine, though, English has also always been one of my favourite subjects. The only downside is that I'll soon have to reduce the amount of voluntary shifts.

Hey, C84, how're ya doin? I'm officially starting to study English in October, as my application as air traffic controller didn't work out, either. Well, after a couple of hours of successful testing on the computer and a nice hour-long conversation with a psychologist, they told me that I'd be too risky because I've got a colour vision deficiency. sigh.

Well, but some of those that have left tend to come back every now and then. How are you doing?

Although, given I haven't been to CDC in three days, I'm not exactly averaging many posts there, nowadays.

I'd just love to see some of the existing personnel on that cycle... well, most of the older guys, in fact. I doubt that a majority of them have a normal body-mass-index (I do )... :D

Well, I'll continue volunteering, then. Now I'm eagerly awaiting Sept. 21, when I've got the second round of the ATC selection process.

Unfortunately, I didn't pass the cycle ergometer test, where I scored 80 % and would have needed 90 %. I get why they check for drugs & alcohol, measure the Body-Mass-Index, vision, blood pressure and blood sugar and also understand the test, where you have to carry a stretcher 2 1/2 stories up and down again. But I never needed to sprint for like 10 mins on the job.

Cool, that would mean I'd be some kind of a prophet, right? I think we could attract a lot of people by keeping the costs for travelling to heaven low, which we could compensate for by having hidden heavenline fees. Muhahaha!

I'm fine, too. I have successfully taken the psychological entry test of the Viennese Ambulance Service. The medical examination is coming up on Thursday.

I haven't seen you in WN for quite a while now. Well, it's not what it used to be.

Your heart has to stay on earth, either way. As far as I know, there is no religion that offers a carry-on body service. You're only allowed to bring along your soul.
