  1. Damn, that was a bad time for a fumble there Stevie Johnson
  2. Wow this minnesota game has been terribly played down the stretch. One of those ones where its been so bad its entertaining
  3. A couple of the games up and coming superstar receivers having huge games today. Both Alshon Jeffery and Josh Gordon with 10 catches, 200+ yards and a couple touchdowns. Damn how I wish now that Detroit would have coughed up the 2nd round pick for Gordon when the Browns were trying to stock up on picks. If my math is right he is now number 2 on the receiving yardage list about 50 yards behind Calvin Johnson while missing the first two games of the year from suspension. If he cleans up his act (he's apparently one more drug issue away from being suspended for a year) he should quickly become a top 5 receiver in the game.
  4. Geez yeah just checked when i read that that lol. Every channel shows the Pats Texans game. The only other channel carrying something different is tsn2 with the Chicago Minnesota game
  5. I meant the Packers run defence was brutal. The Lions rush defence has been absolutely incredible the last while, even before those games it was awesome against the Steelers, Bears and Cowboys. It's also been good to see them get some sacks the last couple of weeks. All season they've been hitting the qb, but just a half second too late and the ball is gone.
  6. Oh and about Calvin Johnson he went up for a jump ball and just kind of landed funny. Came back though until the game got really out of hand. I would say no need to worried though, he's been dealing with knee issues since last season.
  7. Just finished the game on pvr. Best day in a while, last day of classes and utter domination of the Packers. I know there was no Rodgers, but I don't think that would have made a difference with how brutal the Packers O-line and run defence was today though. I gotta admit though that I was worried after the 3 turnovers on the first 4 possessions.
  8. Yeah supposedly he is a big football fan and a fan of most sport teams in Michigan in general. Also it just seems wrong to me to not have an eminem and football related conversation without watching this crazy awkward video.
  9. I'm predicting a win for both teams next week. Dallas I feel has just too high a talent level compared to Oakland. I'm not certain how sure I would feel about this game if Pryor was playing because he can make some plays happen and Dallas' defence is suspect at best and his explosiveness could make some things happen. Tbh im not sure why I think Philly will win. More of a gut feeling than anything. However the Eagles are at a disadvantage this week playing at home. Usually a benefit playing at home, it is anything but for the Eagles. I'm not sure on this so correct me if I'm wrong, but weren't they in the double digits for consecutive home losses before they won before their bye. But I just feel like Nick Foles has been playing lights out and they always have Shady McCoy to go out there and make a play for them when they need it. And I'll post my Turkey Day score predictions: Green Bay 27 Detroit 35 Oakland 13 Dallas 27 Pittsburgh 20 Baltimore 16
  10. Thanks, can't wait for the Thanksgiving game this week. Massive game and I would say it is probably a must win if the Lions want to win the division. Disappointing they havn't been able to pull away from the crowd with the rest of the injuries in the division, but they have just been god awful against the pass this year. It would help immensely if they could get a bit more pressure on the quarterback so the secondary isn't in coverage for so long. On the whole Jay Cutler thing, I feel it would probably be best to franchise him this offseason and give him one more year to see if he can do anything to prove he is their qb of the future as he hasn't really showed one way or the other whether he can be or not. At least to me. They also need to focus on their absolutely atrocious run defense and maybe an offensive lineman or two. Then pick up a project qb in the 3rd round like McCarron or Jordan Lynch. At least thats what I would do in their situation
  11. TBH, not really sure why I'm getting involved in this argument going on here, but I just have a point I would like to make and I think it everytime I see a player go intentionally out of their way to berate an official for a call. While its not the worst thing in the world and shouldn't be an ejection or anything, why isn't it some sort of personal four call? There is no other sport you can berate an official like for example Brady did and many other players do and get away without anything happening to you. In basketball you get a technical, in hockey an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty, ejected in baseball, or a card in soccer. Why not football? Also on a side note for myself I was busy on Sunday and (luckily I guess) missed my Lions lose to Tampa. I know the game was on TSN2 so just curious if anybody watched and could fill me in how they played? I know a big deal is being made about 4 int`s by Stafford, but was it all his fault? Thanks in advance if anybody has an answer for me
  12. Gaining a lot of respect for Cutler today. Obviously in pretty serious pain, and not playing too bad.
  13. Ya that would be the best thing to do in a deep qb draft. Address needs with a high level pick at another position of need then take a qb in the second or trade into the back of the first if you need to. Don't know alot about Philly, so i cant really elaborate more than that lol
  14. If he declares the Eagles will have to trade up to get him because he will probably not slide past 2 with the Buccaneers (as it stands now). Philly is not bad enough to slide into the bottom 3, probably not even bottom 5. Bridgewater will probably go first and even though Clowney is a superior talent, the qb position is way more important plus Clowney is not even playing at a level expected of him right now.
  15. Hell yes Detroit. Beautiful idea to fake the spike and go over the top!!!!!
  16. Did Calvin just one up his catch from last week?
  17. Lions need to stop turning it over if theyre gonna have a chance to beat Dallas. Good thing the D is holding up
  18. You wanted to watch the worst team in the NFL?
  19. 1) Peterson 2) Lynch 3) Charles 4) Foster 5) McCoy 6) Rice 7) Forte 8) Bush 9) Morris 10) Gore
  20. The thursday night game is tampa and carolina
  21. Yeah. It`s absolutely insane the amount of injuries that are happening right now. I usually hate to see any player go down but to lose pro bowlers it only hurts the quality of the game. tbh though not to sound like a dick or anything, but im not upset at the bears injuries. Helps the Lions alot.
  22. Srry. hit quote when i meant to hit edit lol
  23. I couldn't help but see the irony lol. You are right though the Broncos had every chance to win that game, but made careless mistakes that cost them
  24. Hope Reggie Wayne is okay. Good to see him walk off at least
  25. I have a really similar list to you, except for the last spot in the AFC wild card which as you said is close and I also wouldn`t be surprised if Tennessee gets it, but I don't feel like the Texans or Ravens are out of it yet. Two teams that could catch fire closer to the end of the year because of the talent they have. NFC is literally the exact same. Also I havn't been able to watch alot of the Texans and Chiefs game, but I'm really surprised with how well Case Keenum is playing against a top 3 defense in a stadium that is close to Seattle for loudest in the league
