Ya their o-line is pretty solid, I didn't watch the game so its kinda hard to comment, but just going off players though the Buccaneers have like 1 good pass rusher with McCoy so they should have won the battle at the line of scrimmage

I do agree with you. I think the Texans will win. I'm just disagreeing with the assumption this is a "safe" bet. I don't gamble so i dont really know the rules or anything, but if you wanted something safe i would have gone with seattle hosting the jaguars.

Ya, I was thinking the same thing. Also I understand Baltimore hasn't been great this year, but I don't understand how its a "safe" bet going against the defending super bowl champs when they are at home.

That's just the type of qb he is. If you listen to the broadcast they were constantly talking about how he never throws the ball into coverage to prevent turnovers. If you throw the ball 20-30 yards deep there is usually some sort of coverage there so he just checks it down for short yard gains. Boring, but it's worked pretty well for him the last few years.

Ya i gotta admit i was drinking the kool aid after the first week. But i've seen both the Chargers and Chiefs games and it seems like already defenses have found a way to keep the offense in check.

Looking back as a Lions fan. Any year compared to our 2008 imperfect season makes me smile. But the best was probably 2011 when we started 5-0. Of course if i was older than 3 in the Barry Sanders days it would prbly be whenever he touched the ball.

Ya, and the colts now have themselves the 2012 1st and 3rd overall picks. Absolutely crazy good pickup. Cleveland must really not think he is the long term answer if it is just a first. They gave up their 4th overall and 3rd round a year ago to pick him up. Indy now has their backfield set for the forseeable future. Also does this mean Cleveland is just giving up on their season and gonna stock pile picks?

Ya i'm in the same boat as you in i don't watch alot of titans games, but from what i've heard on tv and things it sounds like Locker is solidified as the starter this year and I think it depends on how the team does. If they finish poor enough to get either Bridgewater or Boyd in the draft they will probably go with them, but if not probably stick with Locker.

So i guess the nfl thread has turned into a pats fans vs hawks fan page. Somebody (not me, dont know how) should just create a rivalry thread or something so i dont have to scroll through a whole page to find two relevant posts about football.

Pretty good I would say. You should feel confident in getting good points from your qb most of the time. You're RB's are kind of hit and miss though i would say in the fact Arian Foster could get injured (when he's healthy tho he's obviously a beast), and CJ2K is someone who tends to go out one game and get 120 yards and a score one game and then the next game come back with 40 yards and no scores. That might change though thanks to Tennessee's overhaul of the interior of their O-Line.
