God the Lions have been playing awful since the first quarter in San Diego

Lol can't believe how well my team did for me. One of those weeks where just about everything hit. Hopefully it'll happen again when I play the second highest scorer NPF next week

Yeah a couple stupid decisions cost him in the game, but I give him a pass on the first and third pick of the day. First one the linebacker had a clean shot on him as he was going forward with the throw and it just popped the ball up for the pick (might have been hurt on the play too) and the third went right through Tate's hands to Weddle. That second pick was just a terrible decision. The worst part to me was seeing how terrible we were at tackling. Hopefully that will improve with Levy coming back, but Ihedigbo looked old and slow in coverage and Mathis just got torched by Allen all game long. Still week one and I wasn't necessarily expecting a win, but there has to be improvements

Any opinions on who to play as my flex (ppr league). Doug Martin or John Brown? Also OMG it's finally football season. Yup. I thought about that as well, but decided to go with Taylor as he's looked decent all preseason, so he could potentially be a good pick up as he was my last choice in the last round. Give him a couple weeks to see how he does and if he craps the bed I'm thinking I'll just move over to the strategy you suggested

You're eams not too bad. Your RB2 depth isn't great, but you should be able to play you're qb matchups really well to maximize your points as both can put big points up. Plus you've got the best kicker and Graham.

How's my team look? Roster size is pretty small as we've got a 16 team ppr league. I had pick 7 QB: Matt Ryan RB: Jamaal Charles WR: Brandin Cooks WR: Davante Adams TE: Eric Ebron Flex: Doug Martin D/ST: Detroit K: Catanzaro Bench: Antonio Gates, Chris Ivory, John Brown, Allen Hurns, Tyrod Taylor Personally think I made out pretty well. Still can't believe Charles fell all the way to 7 as he may have been my pick if I had #1. Tight end is a big wild card with Gates not back till week 5 and Ebron not having proved anything in the league. Plus my wide receivers are all really young and going into their second years so here's hoping there isn't any sophmore slumping

Didn't say they couldn't, just don't think they will. The one thing they've definitely got going for them is their RB by committee backfield. Just off the top of my head I can't think of any team having three backs with as much talent as Murray, Mathews and Sproles. The ability to rotate should hopefully keep those guys fresh and help avoid injury.

Thank you. Bold pick with Philly. Personally I think their record and Dallas will meet somewhere in the middle with both at about 10-6. Too many unreliable factors with the Eagles in terms of half their offense could get injured at any point. Also theres always those two or three teams that just do absolutely horribly and win 2 or 3 games and my guesses for those are Washington and Cleveland. Oh and I think Pittsburgh is better than a 9 win team. Think they will get to 11

Happy that we can move on from hearing about appeal processes and can start hearing about football. After of course we discuss the move to get rid of the suspension because of course we all want to hear about that for the next two days

Wow Jordy last week and now Cobb had to leave the game early with what looked like a shoulder injury. Didn't seem to be as serious though, but jeez. Packers are probably gonna keep every key player well clear of the playing field for the next preseason game

Yeah apparently it did. I honestly am not sure how though, I didn't think it did because it never asked me to put a bid down. Maybe it just happened because I dropped a player that time with it?

Okay I tried a couple more times with players I want cuz I saw NPF was able to actually bid on players, but can't figure out how he did it. Do I need to re-drop these players though because doesn't that mean I can't pick them up for another week? Will if I need to though cuz obviously a little unfair to others who may have wanted them

Ok yeah I just tried as well with the first receiver that popped up and it didn't make me pay either. Not sure if its somebody I want yet so I'm putting him back on the market though. So should we wait until we can figure out whats going on with being able to get players for free or just continue on?
