  1. Should've just admitted to wrongdoing if he wanted his suspension reduced. The NFL said that Brady destroyed his phone prior to meeting with the investigators. Sounds like something an innocent person would do.
  2. Why don't they just open the upper bowl and give free tickets to kids. They would at least be generating some extra revenue from food purchases and maybe create new fans along the way.
  3. That was entertaining. NFL should adopt the CFL overtime rules.
  4. This bad weather is supposed to last for most days until July 6th.
  5. Yeah, obviously nothing should've happened to the Patriots or Brady. Nothing should've happened to the Falcons for pumping fake crowd noise. Why have rules in sports at all? Let people do what they want as long as they can argue what little effect breaking a rule has on the outcome. Rice shouldn't have been suspended either. How does smacking someone in an elevator determine the outcome of a game?
  6. Yeah, clearly the deflated ball is responsible for all of that. It wouldn't make much sense to attribute that to any of the thousands of other random events and variables that occur during a game.
  7. Probably would've been 2 had he co-operated with the investigation. They said in the suspension letter that non-cooperation was a factor in the 4 games. Brady went the Ryan Braun route and got burned.
  8. Maybe the NFL should launch an investigation on the NE receivers and RBs. Maybe one of them told The Deflator to tamper with the quarterback's footballs.
  9. The deflated footballs are for Brady's benefit. There's no comparison between that and knowing someone else is taking PEDs.
  10. Pressure and temperature are proportionally related. Comparing the PSI at room temperature (pregame) and then at the outside temperature is ridiculous, which is what you and your youtube video are doing. IGL IGL IGL .. Might as well be IGA to you as you don't understand how to apply it properly.
  11. The urinal story is made up? It's from the interview with the deflator. The intercepted ball was a souvenir ball for D'Qwell Jackson. He could've sat on it, ate it, poked holes in it, thrown it in the garbage, etc. The NFL rule regarding deflation/inflation is for balls being used for the game itself. Did the Colts measuring that one ball to confirm their suspicion magically deflate the other 10 balls?
  12. Well, they were garbage because the pressure measurements weren't done outside. Don't you think if your numbers had any basis at all the entire suspension case wouldn't have gone as far as it did? dis gui.. Here's another one for you. Your deflator said he took the balls straight from the ref's locker room to the field. They then find the surveillance tape of him taking them to the bathroom. He then changes his story and said he went to relieve himself in the urinal in the bathroom. There is no urinal in that bathroom. Maybe you and Brady's lawyers want to re-define what a urinal is now.
  13. It's just a shot in the dark by the PA. Goddell has complete power to hear the appeal as was agreed in the last CBA. After letting the Saints appeal go to Tagliabue and having it overturned, he's probably not gonna do that again. The clown lawyers were probably listening to a Jay-Z song when coming up with that deflate / weight gem. "I've seen Hoop Dreams deflate like a true fiend's weight"
  14. Roger Goodell has assigned himself to hear Brady's suspension appeal.
  15. If this DeflateWeight thing goes sideways for the Patriots and they don't give The Deflator hush money, I think he's gonna end up suing them for emotional distress, defamation, etc. They claim he's innocent and then suspend him without pay. Then they put out a report pointing out he's overweight and exposing him to public ridicule in an attempt to find alternative meanings for 'The Deflator'.
  16. Jenny Craig better watch out for 1-900-DEF-LATR
  17. Yeah, and then they phoned up The Flash so that he could deflate the 10 other Patriot footballs.
  18. You're again going on about IGL and being proven wrong? Your youtube link doesn't apply to this case. It's completely invalid. You can't do calculations from room temperature and outside temperature, add in the pressure at sea level to both sides and find the percentage reduction. All of the measurements were done indoors in the ref locker room.
  19. Yes, Luck should be suspended because all of the Colts balls were 12.5 or above on at least one of the two gauges at half time. You've really gone off the deep end.
  20. The report says Anderson was told just prior to the game. Does this really matter to you? When you start splitting hairs about things like this it means you have no real claims to support your argument. I think any reasonable person reviewing all the data would say the balls were deflated, the 4 game suspension was warranted because of not co-operating with the investigation (would've likely been less if he was honest), and the draft picks being taken away weren't necessary.
  21. Again with the "definitive evidence"? You don't need a confession or videotape of them deflating the football. The standard for cheating in the NFL is "balance of probabilities". You take all the circumstantial evidence like the deflation levels of the balls, the text messages from 'the deflator', the deflator lying about taking the balls to the bathroom & then changing his story multiple times after being shown surveillance video, etc and then ask yourself what is the more likely of the two options. End of story.
  22. To avail... The draft picks are permanently gone. The suspension might be reduced, who knows.
  23. The ref wasn't told the night before. He had a discussion with someone from the league office just prior to the game that the Colts had concerns about the Pats footballs. The ref said he would do his usual checks before the game. All of the balls were 12.5 prior to the game (2 had to be inflated). There's really no point in writing down 12.5 over & over. It's the lower limit of the range and easy to remember. The Colts measured the intercepted ball on the sidelines and it was underinflated, so that's when their GM told the league officials to ask the refs to check the rest of the balls.
