  1. Nailed it...sad when I'm not watching as much as I used too.
  2. Giving us all the answer to the trivia question "Where in the world is Brad Maddox?!"
  3. Unless they are going for the big troll, this is too painfully obviously set up for a Roman Reigns win. If they don't I'm cringing that they will be using Reigns up to Wrestlemania for a payoff win for the title. Would have made things more interesting if they could have put some bigger name talent that is currently available in the brackets like Jericho, Undertaker or even Lesnar. Of what's left and how the bracket is shaped I can only see maybe Ambrose, Owens or Reigns winning it. Maybe ADR as a longshot. And of course when the Authority isn't happy with the winner they will send out Sheamus to cash his money in the bank.
  4. Wake me up when its Green Bay vs. New England in the Super Bowl.
  5. But you know, the crowd had to cool off after marking out so hard for Kane... I am surprised that ADR is back so soon after how he was let go. Feel like there must have been some big heat backstage over how he was released.
  6. Great, so I can watch Sting vs. Jeff Hardy again, all 10 seconds of it.
  7. According to Dave Meltzer Cena will be taking time off after HIAC until at least December for "personal reasons":
  8. Don't believe that, but Punk's was the longest since Nash held the title for a year in the mid-90's. If anyone was going to hold the title for a long period again now it would've been Brock Lesnar.
  9. Except I believe Pete when he says that the kick wasn't meant to be an onside kick. With the new OT rules there really is little to gain with a successful onside kick.
  10. God the odds of doing that are next to impossible. Even if you know your stuff, things happen, bad games happen to good teams or bad teams overachieve. Good for him though.
  11. The issue of being cut because of injury or poor performance and losing out on all but their guaranteed money is a unfortunate contract situation that if players are upset about needs to be fixed during the next CBA. Players and their agents know full well what they are getting themselves into if they sign longer term deals at a younger age. I hardly will weep for anyone that loses out on millions of dollars due to injury or being cut when they (and I know its not all of them) rode a full college scholarship to get to the NFL. I do think it's a slippery slope to have a player sit out of training camp, miss the entire pre-season and now miss the start of the season because he thinks he deserves more money. He's a great player but I hope he makes less money sitting at home this season with these antics. Or trade him to the Jaguars.
  12. He's a casualty of himself. I have zero respect for any player, on any team in any league that sits out because they aren't happy with their current contract. You should fire your agent if you aren't happy with your current deal, don't piss on your teammates because you want more money.
  13. Oh FFS, people are still going on about the Patriots and fan support? Like any other team, the bandwagon fans will leave when they one day suck again (and like every team in sports, they will one day) and the diehard fans will remain. Every team in sports (except maybe the Jacksonville Jaguars because they consistently suck) goes through it. The Canucks are going through it right now. Seattle will go through it again. Just pick a team and cheer them on and boo other fans. Why do you care if they support the team when they suck or not? Just worry about the team you cheer for! I'm a stubborn man who cheers for the same teams. I like my Canucks, Whitecaps, Bulls, Mariners and Seahawks and always will. Anyways, enough with the rant. Go Seahawks, screw the Cowboys and lets have an awesome season!
  14. Oh man. Clearly the key to any woman's heart is swinging a chain, throwing feces and urinating on a building and telling deputies you have a knife and charging on them. On a serious note, celebrity stalkers are kind of their own breed of sick. The fact this man has caused problems at the Performance Centre speaks for itself.
  15. Amen to that. It was actually revolting to see how many people were demanding BC Hydro pay for their spoiled food, how "if the power doesn't come back on soon I'll have no phone" and "Screw you BC Hydro, fix my damn power!!!". Nature happens, trees fall down. Generation Entitled clearly doesn't see the big picture, the trees that damaged peoples homes, cars took out power lines and even fell on a bystander. Things take time to repair. A bigger disaster will take longer to repair. Everyone was being reminded this week that 10 years later, New Orleans is still recovering from Katrina. I will say the one thing I was guilty of not being prepared for is cash. I hardly ever carry it on me anymore. Thankfully I didn't require it yesterday but it was a reminder to throw some emergency funds into the 72 hour kit. And I guess the good news so far is unlike the last big wind storm in 2006, our water supply is safe. Best to my memory there was a boil advisory for a week in some areas. I wonder who these entitled people will blame for that?
  16. I wouldn't go that far. Celebrities have gotten involved numerous times over the years in matches. None have come close to getting the strap put on them. The fact that Arquette won the belt, but then didn't vacate it but defended it was gross and spoke to WCW's downfall.
  17. Why, why, why any wrestling company would use a dusty finish at a PPV, albeit the "second" biggest PPV of the year, baffles me. Do not like, piss me off, FFS.
  18. What is Jarrett's obsession over the dumb 6 sided ring? It was stupid in TNA and it'll continue to be stupid now.
  19. Why would they put an older picture of Undertaker with long hair on there? Makes me think it's fake. Even though he gave a low blow last night, I can't see Undertaker at this stage in his career being booked as a heel. He's away from the show so much that fans go nuts whenever he makes an appearance. Any match he wrestles in could very well be his last at the rate he competes. I can't see him being booked as a heel, that would be a huge mistake. Even career heels, guys like Ric Flair who spent a majority of their careers as a heel went out as a face.
  20. Not surprised. They recently worked a tag match against Jeff Jarrett in ECCW. Jarrett doesn't show up to a small event like that unless he's doing some scouting is what I'd think. Glad he liked what he saw, these guys seem pretty committed and deserve a shot!
  21. Lex Luger disagrees with your stupid comment. The guy would turn heel or face multiple times on just an episode of Nitro!
  22. Cena is good like that. He knows the fans are more interested in watching the celebration after a big win rather than him pretending to be a corpse in the ring. He let CM Punk have his moment, he let Daniel Bryan have his moment. You don't want another situation like Hart/Michaels from WM 12 where it's rumored Michaels stated "get that piece of $&!# out of the ring" post-match.
