Just watched Green post game. I guess it just doesn't matter whether we win or lose. Whether we make the playoffs or not. Whether we ever win a cup or not. It is all just kinda sorta doesn't matter. Aw shucks and gee whiz, It's just for fun and everyone is a nice person. We are now 8 -13 -2 on the season and 6th place out of 7 teams. But so what? He is kinda disappointed but not enough to get upset about. He said nothing to suggest that he was really mad and he said absolutely nothing to suggest that he is frothing at the chance to turn this around. That is your coach folks. What do you expect is going to happen?

I am really looking forward to hearing Green's assessment of this latest debacle. Does he ever point the finger at himself?

Ouch that one hurt. This time up 3 to 0 and don't score again and lose 4 to 3. Ok I don't want to keep talking about Green so I wont talk about how coaching consistently fails us in our ability to find a way to either hold a lead or come back from being scored on first. What I will say is this. If we keep Green and this keeps happening how much damage is going to be done to the young guys on this team? I get that nobody ever wants to change a coach any more cuz that could be possibly a tough choice in a world where nobody wants to make tough choices. But if we don't is that actually going to result in deep divisions in this team as they get worse and worse? At what point is it worse to hang onto a coach than to jettison him even if you don't have another one to go to?

What Mac did last game and Rooster has done this game with punching guys in the face is what this team needs to turn their season around. We are playing only SIX other teams all year. You have to do this to set a tone. It is something that pays off over the long term. Don't give a F and punch guys in the face makes sense in this crazy covid Northern Canadian Scotia Bank Whack Ass division!

Love Rooster! He is singlehandedly bringing the attitude that this team has been lacking. I don give a F i gonna punch dat guy in da nose! Love it!

punched poopoo in the nose and made him cry. Not a bad play. In the old days we would love that. We could use a little more of that. PP doesn't always win the game as much as making the other team feel jhitty about playing in your barn.

Mac Gaud and Virt have combined for 4 point this year. That should definitely not be underestimated.

You're right. And it's no mystery why guys rebound after being traded. The coach says welcome to the team show me what you can do. And what happened in the past doesn't matter. That is what creates the conditions for a rebirth. Vs. here where our no talent bum of a coach destroys the confidence of Virt Gaud Mac because he doesn't know what he is doing. Then rubs it in with a look or a comment or a benching over and over until they are afraid of their own shadows. Green is a terrible coach who has never won anything. I predict that JB stops backing him publicly cuz the writing is all over the wall now.

Green shouldn't be allowed to talk any more.

I'm tired of fans blindly supporting Green. He has a losing record. He has never won anything. Our pp is awful. Gaudette and Virtanen's development has completely stalled and they have fallen off a cliff after getting 36 and 33 pts last year, they are now at 2 and 1. He has no passion or toughness. He picks on players like mac and missed an opportunity to play him in a game where he lifted the entire team with a big fight in the first period. I want Green removed and if I have to wait until the offseason fine. But I do not want him coaching the team next year. Please. Lord. Let's start next year with a new coach with a winning NHL track record who can instill confidence in a talented group of young players.

Mac is up to a whopping 5 10 through two periods. That's lowest on the team. Lower than Virt and Rouss. Barely half what gaud has played. And yet his fight is one of the keys to the game IMO. Green is not my coach. I'm sorry folks. He is incapable of making in game changes and reading emotions. He plays safe and makes conservative and passive choices every time. As if not playing mac after what he did to to lift the team by winning a fight against a legit heavy weight doesn't matter. Blah! Ok guys lets win this regardless of this coach. C'mon Holtby you are looking good. Close the door buddy. And Petey get another beauty!

Interesting to see. Mac caused an icing. But he didn't turn the puck over at centre ice and cause a turnover going the other way. What does Green do? Put him back out or sit him? Curious to see. It's 9 07 of the 2nd now.

Green does not make in game adjustments. He sticks to his predetermined decisions. Ehank god Holtby gonna win this game for us.
