    comparing apples to oranges, ones a top pairing 50 pt + established defense man and the other is a up and coming still in developement possible power forward but not quite there yet and still a question mark to many

    Right, but do you wait for that, hope he wants to come to Vancouver and its not a stupid # and term. Take the chance of missing out on everyone? You make the deals when they come to you if you don't you get left out and have nothing to show for it. I rather JB goes for it and makes a move and trust that its the right one. Remember no GM bats a thousand.

    Ya if we could land that deal I'm for it but if we can't and have to add the 2020 1st, lottery protected of coarse, then we still have #10 this year to deal or take to add offense. Maybe we use our chips like Tanev and or Stecher with add ons to retrieve our 2020 1st for next years draft. Who Knows at this point, thats why I said we have to wait until the first trade is done to see where were at then.

    we have a few to trade for sure. It all depends on the first move and where that leaves us. Way too many scenarios to look at. Lets see what JB does first and that will tell us lots With Edler signed I'm sure Tanev is on the block. If we land Barrie for say 2020 1st and Virt I'm sure Stecher is on the Block. We also have many add ons we can compliment many deals with

    You'd be wrong to think JB is only adding one player, I see us adding at least 2 just on defense, and maybe 2 others on offense

    Probably Tanev + would get us a late 1st. Like Sutter, Goldobin or Sven as the ssweetner. I guess if we land a Barrie you could also add Stecher to that list

    So would I but maybe thats not in the cards, sometimes you have to take what you can get and I'd be extremely happy with Barrie

    If we get Barrie I'm sure Stecher is gone and having 2 50+point offense Dman is a good thing as long as we compliment them with size and grit

    I agree I love Stecher but i also agree that having 3 sub 6ft d man is not a good thing so if were bringing in Barrie moving Stecher is just the right move

    Last years TDL we were offered a late 1st for Tanev so I don't think his value has tanked, he's worth something of value

    Mad and deff I guess, does he realize the media has said Benning has been one of the most active GM's in trade talks right now

    I think his offense was steller and his ability to change the game with big hits and emotional play was the best we have seen here in Vancouver
