  1. London vs Bellville will be fun. Gaunce vs Horvat and Subban vs Liberati
  2. Back to the Knights for Horvat. MEM CUP TIME!
  3. agreed. He won't learn anything from playing in junior this year. He needs mentors like Kesler and Hank to help him with his development. Europe or NHL would be best for his development IMO
  4. Would you if you were an NHL player for the nucks?
  5. He's 19... Has a bigger frame at 6'2" then most. Why are we complaining when we KNOW he is only going to get better based on his work ethic. Pointless debate Would you rather the Canucks have drafted one of these guys? 6. Sure.. Why not. Free passes are nice.
  7. Stoked for him this year. He played really well in the AHL last year. Some sick snipes.
  8. I more interested in seeing Gauncer at main camp. I think that he excels playing with fast players, because he's a very good passer and responsible Defensively. Hope he plays tomorrow with Jensen and either Franson or Shink.
  9. By most you mean "the best" right? Always have played sports, successful teams have a leader who gets everyone to buy in, but not by telling them to buy in, by showing them how to buy in. Once you have that, doesn't matter how much skill you have, you can compete with every team, LA Kings are a good example. Or the SA Spurs, look at Russel Wilson with the Seahawks, the guy believes in himself and team mates and he shows that on the field. Either Bo or Brendan could be a leader for the nucks, I think they might be a very solid team, because they both have that leading quality and could feed off each other.
  10. cap space is available in case one of those two 18 year old's really show up and stick after the first few games. MG's gotta leave it open to allow them some room on the team. I doubt they will make it, but better to leave the door open for them. Really want to see Gaunce on Kesler's wing, especially after how he played with Graovac this past year. Belleville's line was Gaunce Graovac Brassard, which we have in Gaunce Kesler Kassian. We already know he can be successful offensively in that role, and still was named top defensive froward in the OHL. Gaunce Kesler shutdown, Kassian clearing bodies and controlling some board play, crashing the net, etc... Could be a nice line if not this year then next?
  11. He was back in Belleville for camp. dono if he played in their preseason game or not. small interview with him here. his part starts at 1:45
  12. I know right? Initially I was concerned because Bo's numbers in Junior regular season are not outstanding, but it's his ability to raise his game and match up against opponents that might be considered better than him and help the team come out on top. He's such a complete player I think he's going to be our MVP for many years. I really hope him and Shinkaruk play on the same line this summer and at WJC because they would be a good fit in my mind. he just wants to win at all costs, and that is infectious in the dressing room. I have had enough of NHL guys checking in and out depending on the night. He seems like he will only get better everyday.
  13. Check Horvats highlights from playoffs and Mem Cup this year. Any doubters will change their minds. For me he is really similar to Dustin Brown, competes extremely hard, good shot, good speed, good vision, plays PP and PK well. Gotta like him as a safe pick to be in the NHL as a second or first liner.
  14. STOKED ON TORTS! just watching his post games on youtube... Man this guy will make listening to the team 1040 and any post game stuff way better. Hopefully our boys can just get down to business and play hockey while he's doing the talky talky. Stevens is still a good option. I just think torts is what we need till the sedins are retired
  15. I'm fairly certain this is 63 pages of wasted time... If only everyone on CDC got paid be sports reporters/analyts, then we could actually feel useful with our research and speculation that no one really cares about...
  16. Yay we still need to sign three coaches! torts and stevens for the LA Kings formula of good cop bad cop. with blashill as the other assistant. MG GET'ER DONE SO WE CAN MOVE ON FROM THIS THREAD!!!!!
  17. well if we tank next year we will get a good pick... and hopefully get some firsts in trades for 2015 and lock up mcdavid... boom
  18. Tortilla and Tostito on the same team, could this be the new AV-Rome relationship? I hope so, Tort and Tito just too good to be true.
  19. The big three hockey version. Bringing in Torts, Stevens and Gulutzan. They are taking their talents to hollywood north!
  20. I hope we sign someone next week. Just want to move past these coaching threads and onto something new...
