Trade Deadline
The most intriguing fight for myself was the Carwin vs. Gonzaga matchup. Carwin has never made it past the 1st round...because his opponents all get their arse annihilated before the first 5minutes are over. It was finally good to see how he'd match up against elite competition in Gonzaga. Guess what? Same result. Carwin is the real deal. He'll be the next Heavyweight Champion. Watch. (after Lesnar/Mir fight)

(after Lesnar/Mir fight) I wouldn't call Gonzaga elite. His name is built on winning one fight against Crocop. He has never beat anyone else worth mentioning. The heavyweight division itself isn't as deep as the others. I was implying he is one of the better fighters of the 206+ division. Even if that wasn't saying much..Gonzaga was the first real top level fighter that Carwin fought. He demolished him like he did with the rest. Mr. Huge is for real. I have to agree with that, but it was certainly a big step up in competition for Shane.
Silverforge
I didn't end up buying the PPV, so I am curious as to whether or not those that did pay for it felt it was worth it? I had a feeling this card could be a bit of a sleeper, but I just couldn't justify paying for it when my work is so slow right now

But there are some good fighters out there. Carwin reminds me of another James Thompson. Mega Punk.

Just not common. Edited March 8, 2009 by Harbinger

Harbinger
How about this.. Why couldn't you have used a common metonym to nickname? Eh? Handle was the first word that came into mind and it was the one I wrote. It would be like me asking why you used the word nickname instead of pseudonym. It was already written and I normally expect people to understand what the word means. If you didn't know, I apologize for not knowing you didn't know.
