NuxFan09
OT starting. The Miller-Doell-Haydar line starts for the Wolves.
NuxFan09
The biggest difference by far between the NHL and AHL that I've noticed, at least watching this game, is the lack of physicality and intensity in the AHL. Although it's been a pretty good game overall, it seems like there's absolutely no emotion. The guys are just playing.
NuxFan09
A bunch of chances for the Wolves in front of the Rampage net but they can't get one past Markstrom. The Wolves have been the better team in OT so far.
NuxFan09
And then a bunch of chances at the other end for the Rampage but Lack held strong! The pace is picking up. Chances at both ends. Uh oh, Mark Mancari takes an interference penalty. Rampage to the PP. The PK unit for the Wolves is Reinprecht-Miller, Matheson-Connauton.
NuxFan09
Unreal glove save by Markstrom! Haydar fed a nice little cross crease pass to Reinprecht on the doorstep and Markstrom robbed Reinprecht point blank. Some great chances here in OT for both sides and although both goalies were underwhelming during regulation, they have really stepped up in OT. Tanev's Smirk
Reading them as you go, but also F5ing the box score like mad. Edit: Holy typing fail Batman.
NuxFan09
Yikes, another PP coming up for San Antonio as Kevin Connauton threw the puck over the glass and took the delay of game penalty, Reinprecht, Miller, Baumgartner and Matheson on the ice for the PK. ...And San Antonio wins it as Colby Robak scores off Jon Matsumoto's blocked shot. 5-4 OT win for the Rampage and they take the series lead, 1-0. Banksy91
I really think they need to do away with that rule and give back it back to the refs discretion. Unfortunate way to lose the game

Millerdraft
Dreaded delay of game penalties... Gotta hate being on the wrong end of those calls.
stexx
well it wasnt the tight low scoring game i expected, but it was close. Tough penalty for Kconn to take in OT.

Banksy91
3 Stars: (3) James Wright, (2) Jon Matsumoto), (1) Colby Robak Wow didnt watch the game but find it hard to believe that SA players were deserving of all three stars! Seems like it might be bit of homer picks there.

Canvoucer Vanuck
Damn I missed the stream! Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Ah well, maybe next time. At least we know these Wolves can score... unlike a certain parent club around here.
