RUPERTKBD Posted May 19, 2012 Share Posted May 19, 2012 I think that luck is involved...If Luongo had not made the save in OT game 7 against Patrick Sharp in last years playoffs..we could've been talking an entirely different scenario.The first round is somewhat of a toss up (a lot of Presidents trophy teams go out in the first).Even Boston went out this season.This season though,I thought LA were the better team,..and the better team won.Even when the Canucks did play well,LA always had an equal response .Darryl Sutter is a really good coach,he was coach of a very succesful Sharks team,and Calgary team(before he became GM)...I always thought the same of Pat Quinn..a better coach than GM.I still firmly believe that ,had we'd been up against any other team in the first round,other than LA...we would still be playing today.
