tracyjordan
JW, who here has taken them. How was it. I hear macro is easier than micro. Is that true.
canucklax
From an sfu student, take micro before macro
Jägermeister
Also from an SFU student, take micro before macro. Macro doesn't really have any applications that carry over to Micro, however what you learn in Micro will help you grasp the basic concepts of Macro much quicker. LostViking
From a UFV student, I agree take Micro first. Macro is easier, mainly because some concepts carry over from Micro. Taking them at the same time can help cut down on overall studying, but it may be tedious for the first few weeks where they both covered the same base principles, I swear my prof copied his lecture verbatim (including his horrible jokes) for the first two weeks. Ghostsof1915
If you're talking economics, stay away from both, unless it's required. What economists fail to grasp is it's a social science. You can make all the models you want. Have a terrorist attack, or a social uprising, and things fly out the window. You can be the richest person in the world. But if you are diagnosed with fatal cancer your money can't save you.
