Ossi Vaananen
He's a third round pick of LA in 2010 5'10 171 --- Regular Season --- ---- Playoffs ---- Season Team Lge GP G A Pts PIM GP G A Pts PIM -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2007-08 Regina Pats WHL 3 0 1 1 0 4 0 0 0 0 2008-09 Regina Pats WHL 65 16 54 70 26 -- -- -- -- -- 2009-10 Regina Pats WHL 72 35 67 102 54 -- -- -- -- -- 2010-11 Regina Pats WHL 72 43 53 96 70 -- -- -- -- -- 2010-11 Manchester Monarchs AHL 7 0 1 1 0 -- -- -- -- -- 2011-12 Manchester Monarchs AHL 2 0 0 0 0 -- -- -- -- -- 2011-12 Regina Pats WHL 70 41 75 116 36 5 1 4 5 0 He's a beast as you can see. For the life of my I can't figure out why he fell so low in his draft year, and why he wasn't given a decent look at LA's camp last year. He's from North Vancouver, as am I so he is in a way a friend of a friend. Anyway he recently voiced his dislike of the Kings, and frustration for not being given a decent shot. What I want to discuss is what would it take to pry this guy away from LA? He is incredibly talented and a little on the smaller side. He doesn't seem to fit the LA vision of larger forwards, and as it stands I doubt he could crack their top 6. In our system I think he would be top prospect. What would it take to grab him? Connauton
Don't need him. Small forward, overager in the WHL. Soon enough, the quote in your sig will be applying to him.
Ossi Vaananen
Lol. The quote in my sig is meant to reflect that Raymond has done for castrated men in the NHL what Jackie Robinson did for black men in the MLB. Weal doesn't play as soft as Raymond. Ossi Vaananen
I think with the additions of prospects such as Gaunce, Kassian, Labate, Jensen, Grenier that we can afford to add a smaller player. This kid was putting up points in his draft year as well... 102 actually. Schroeder hasn't demonstrated the offensive explosiveness we all hoped he had. Weal is a vastly underrated forward prospect. Smashian Kassian
I would do it, too many people want to be big and tough but I would love to have this guy. Maybe a prospect for Prospect trade?
