Edler + Ballard for Eriksson + Dillon - Finally get an allstar winger for Sedin's and a young, solid hometown shutdown dman wouldn't hurt. 2.) Schneider + 2014 VAN 2nd for Couturier + 2013 PHILLY 1st - You want to go for a Cup run, get Schneids outta here and go with Lu. Plus this helps us now and in the future as we get a solidified prospect in Couturier and a low 1st round pick to a draft a gem. 3.) 2013 VAN 1st, Schroeder, Higgins for Ryan - Get a winger for the Sedin's, why not get Kesler's too? Plus Schroeder doesn't fit in the teams criteria of getting bigger and Couturier ultimately replaces him. 4.) Booth for Mark Fayne + Cond. 2014 3rd if Booth puts up 40+ point - Depth and younger on D 5.) Sign Hendricks 2 years, 1.25 mill per year - finally a replacement for Manny. Sign Lapierre 2 years, $1.15 mill per year - can't let him go, he's a heart and soul player. Sign Weise 2 years, $700K per year - depth grinding player. Sign Alberts 2 years, $1 mill per year - depth dman. 6.) If Briere get's bought out, sign him 2 years, $2.25 mill per year....best playoff performer ever and it's what we lack. 7.) Get Tippet as head coach - gets the most out of player and plays young players, the proposed 3rd line. Plus he is a mastermind coach...he's had decent teams over the years and taken them beyond expectations and limitations...heck, he took a the Phoenix Coyotes to the conference finals! 23 man roster: Sedin - Sedin - Eriksson (Lethal) Burrows - Kesler - Ryan (Agitate, Score, Defend) Briere - Couturier - Kassian (Future/let Jensen rotate games with Briere as he's old & prevent injury + Jensen gets experience) Lapierre - Hendricks - Hansen (Shutdown & Offense - best 4th line in the league) Jensen... Hamhuis - Bieksa (Go-to pair) Garriso - Tanev (Garrison mentors Tanev) Dillon - Corrado (Young D Pair) Alberts, Fayne... Luongo (One more cup run) Lack (Gets mentored from Lu like how Schneids did) Fits just under cap max $64 mill. I don't care if MG trades a player(s) he's just extended...if he wants this team to not get caught up in finances with cap restrictions, he should trade guys like Edler and Higgins before their NTC's kick in. Dallas isn’t trading Dillion and have no use for Ballard they have a bunch of young D prospects coming up through there system. If they are trading Eriksson they will need to replace his offence. 2.) canuktravella Posted May 24, 2013 Share Posted May 24, 2013 mmmm bobby ryan for a late first rounder a smurf of a 3rd line center in schroeder and a 3rd line grinder how drunk would the anaheim gm have to be? try edler and hansen might get us ryan theyd probably want a 2nd rounder as well. flyers will not give us a future 1st or 2nd line center and a top ten draft pick for schneider youd have to throw in edler as well to get that package. Why would briere come west when he refused to waive his no trade clause because he didnt wanna move his daughters from their school if he did get bought out hed sign in for (pens, isles, rangers, devils, canes) not to join canucks your proposals are way worse than mine.
