RL.
Sincere apologies to the free agents the Red Wings wanted to target coming out of the gate on July 1st. Due to personal reasons I have not been able to prepare offers for the players I have targeted, but will be looking to get that done tomorrow. (Thank goodness for this 5 day grace period to get offers in).
Primal Optimist
The Rangers would like to offer GM Squeak congratulations on the announcement last night. I understand Commissioner C2X was in attendance at Glendale city council and received a rare standing ovation from the gathered crowd of fans, and opponents, while the city ratified a deal that will bring in new ownership of your Coyotes. edit: The rumours of the 'Yotes moving full time to Quebec City must have been nerve wracking for you. I really like the way this was handled this season, we can't all drop our RL stuff to fire in offers at midnight, so the monday to friday window is superb planning by the exec. Thumbs Up. Squeak
Just a reminder to all GM's If a player has 'hired' a specific agent, please ensure to send your offer for that player to the assigned agent. If this is not done - it could get missed; because as you can imagine, we need to stay as organized as possible.

There is no need to apologize, offers are being sorted and organized at this time, only starting on July 5th will negotiations be allowed to begin, not saying every team will get a reply on that day, but negotiations will be underway from then on. Whether you submit an offer yesterday, today, tomorrow, or friday, it will have no bearing on negotiations.

Primal Optimist
Wanted season tix to the Seattle team....damn... I suspect you will have your wish inside the next 730 days. There are two more teams out east than out west for a reason. My bet is as soon as Phoenix is settled, look for two franchises awarded for the 2014-15 season, or possibly dribble in for the 15-16 season

Primal Optimist
I have a couple ideas, one that is overlooked a lot for some very good reasons, I think is viable for very good reasons: Wynn might want to put a franchise and an Arena in Las Vegas. If not him, then some other billiionaire casino owner. The casino props up the team, the team gives another venue of things to do in Vegas and when the arena is empty it can seat 18,000 fans for the top touring acts int he world to hit up and do a 3 night set in Vegas. There are downsides, but it would be a destination away game for 30 other teams fans which would keep it in the black while as i said earlier, giving another reason to come to vegas and spend more money at the hotels/casino's owned by the same guy that owns the team. arby18_
Report: The Montreal Canadiens are content to hang around and watch the first few days of free agency as spectators, as the plan that has been a few months in the making has left the Habs with a full roster and much needed depth. It is not expected that GM _arby_18 will be active in the first wave of big name signings. However, where the Habs might be looking is at teams in "cap hell", as Montreal has just over $4.0m in cap space and a few players on "cap friendly" deals that could be dangled to "help" teams in need. So selfless, we know... Teams looking to shed cap should contact the Habs to see how we can help.

Primal Optimist
MSG NEWS 2013 Frenzy Edition: The Rangers have been busy in the opening salvo of the Free Agent Frenzy, and while Madison Square Garden News could not independently verify names and dollar figures, we have learned that GM Primal Optimist signed off on 3 serious offers, and word is leaking out that one may have been an offer sheet targeted towards a Western Conference team's RFA player. Ace of Spades
RUMOUR: It is looking like the Kings are not likely to make a big splash in free agency, focusing more on re-signing players and adding some depth to the organization. The team is continuing to shop around G Ryan Miller with the reported asking price being a mix of picks and prospects.
