Mike Vanderhoek
Thanks everyone for the kind words! Hopefully I can copy the Islanders model, and sign some of their players from last year to help capture the CDCGML cup this year. I think OTTS beat you to that already

Primal Optimist
MSG News 2013: Prospect Signing: The New York Rangers have signed prospect Patrick Sieloff to a three year Entry Level Contract. Patrick is ahead of the curve for his draft year, looks to have a solid WJC this coming winter and may even have a shot at a nine game stint this coming season where he could very well make the case to keep him up all season long, rare as that feat is, Patrick is a rock on the blueline and a very tough defender, never afraid to use the body, and while he may not put up much on the score sheet in goals, we expect he will have a long and plentiful career in other scoring areas on the Rangers. Patrick Sieloff was drafted 72nd overall, in the third round of the CDCGML 2012 entry draft. Flames sign Patrick Sieloff Friday, 19.07.2013 / 4:31 PM / Calgary Flames Transactions calgaryflames.com Patrick Sieloff from the Ontario Hockey League’s Windsor Spitfires to an entry-level contract. “Patrick Sieloff is the type of high-character, good hockey sense, hard to play against competitor that we want in our organization,” said Flames General Manager Jay Feaster. “He is a physical presence on the blue line and has a hard, accurate shot. He moves the puck well in transition and he is a team-first player. Sieloff is an ‘old school’ style player and we welcome the edge he brings to his game. We are very pleased to have him signed and look forward to seeing him in Penticton and at training camp.” Sieloff, a native of Ann Arbour, Michigan, just completed his first season with the Windsor Spitfires (OHL) where he netted three goals and added eight assists for 11 points and 85 penalty minutes in 45 games. Sieloff captured a gold medal with Team USA at the 2013 IIHF World Junior Championship in Russia this past Christmas. #50 PATRICK SIELOFF – DEFENCE BORN: Ann Arbour, MI DATE: May 15, 1994 HEIGHT: 6’1” WEIGHT: 200 lbs. SIGNING: The Tampa Bay Lightning have signed unrestricted free agent forward Paul Bissonette to a two year deal. Paul Bissonette: 2 years, $ 1.45 million dollar contract ( $ 725,000.00 per season ). We are very pleased to have Jeremy Smith return for another year, as he is a very strong AHL goalie. His familiarity with Magnus Hellberg and the rest of our organization was one of the main reasons we brought him back. Now on different teams, Magnus and Jeremy will both be able to get the playing time they need to develop their games. While he hasn't had the progression to the NHL we had anticipated, we still believe Brett Sonne's 2-way game will provide him with an opportunity outside of St Louis to develop his game. Finally, we are glad at signing Paul Bissonnette for two years to replace the toughness we lost with Mike Brown. Paul adds tremendous character and energy into our organization.
