you have a 5 litre jug and a 3 litre jug. how can you make exactly 4 litres of water

fill the 3 liter, put it in the 5 liter.. fill the 3 liter and dump 2 in the 5 liter.. now you have 1 liter in the 3 and 5 is full.. dump the 5 on the ground, put the 1 in the 5.. now you have 1 liter in the 5, and an empty 3.. fill the 3, and put it in the 5.

You are your way to visit your Grandma, who lives at the end of the valley. It's her birthday, and you want to give her the cakes you've made.

Between your house and her house, you have to cross 7 bridges, and there is a troll under every bridge. Each troll requires you to pay a troll toll. You must give them half of the cakes you are carrying, but as they are kind trolls, they each give you back a single cake.

How many cakes do you have to leave home with to make sure you retain the highest % of your cakes?

Giroux and Bryzgalov where sitting in their family room one night. While Giroux was watching T.V, Bryzgalov was reading. All of a sudden the power went out and Giroux decided to go to bed, but Bryzgalov kept on reading. With no use of artificial light, Bryzgalov kept on reading. How?

With the mystical power of universe?

No, but seriously, is it just that it wasn't dark out yet?
