Offseason Plan (Proposal)

Recommended Posts

Well I have been posting in other topics and well people liked the ideas so here are a few trades i would make:

Trade 1

Trade for Evander Kane

To canucks

Kane

To Winnipeg

Markstrom

Hansen

Higgins

Gaunce/Shinkaruk

2nd round pick

we do this so it brings us a legit top 6 player that can score 30-35 goals so that will cover kesler scoring

They do this so they get a young goalie that they can develop into a number, they get either Hansen or higgins which will cover up the scoring kane had, not right away but slowly, then they get the prospect which is either Gaunce who may be able to step in right away on the 3rd line or a future top 6 scorer. obvious this doesn't make there team great now but in the long run they get the players that can score and a future starting tender which they don't have. they also get a 2nd round pick which could be anything.

Trade 2

Trade for Eriksson Although we have Vrbata now.

To Boston

4th round pick

To Vancouver

Eriksson

we do this so we get a player in Eriksson that will and has had instant chemistry with the Sedins if Vrbata doesn't

they do this so they unload a 4.8 million contract to start signing all there RFA which will want a raise.

Trade 3

Trade Burrows

To Montreal

Burrows

To Canucks

2nd round pick

we simply do this as a Cap dump and montreal may be one of the places He may be willing to waive to

we also get 2nd round pick that would be a low 2nd rounder

they do this so they get a big scorer (although he had an off year) and they have him that can play any where from the 1st to 3rd line

Final Line up:

2014-2015 line up

Sedin Sedin Vrbata

Kane Bonino Eriksson

Jensen Vey Kassian

Sestito Richardson Dorsett

Hamhuis Bieksa

Edler Tanev

Corrado Sbisa

Miller

Lack

sorry was going through Cap geek, he will be playing with the 3rd line which will add depth scoring for the canadians

And why would they want to pay a third liner $4.5m a year when they need to re-sign Subban and Eller this year and Galchenyuk and Gallagher next year?
