They get a 1st round pick in a DEEP 2015 draft, they get a solid goaltender in Markstrom and a top 6/ top 9 forward in Burrows. I would not do that. But I guess that's how much we need to give in order to get Kane. :L ...and Kane helps the Canucks now, for the next decade, and beyond. 22 yrs old. CanuckMan10 Posted August 13, 2014 Share Posted August 13, 2014 I think kane would make us more of a playoff team this year and our first round pick would be worth a lot less than without him (20th with vs. maybe 6th without).... if that made any sense. I would do that deal in a heartbeat. He's going to enter his prime soon and once he came to his hometown team his "attitude problems" would probably go away, after all I cant blame him for wanting out of winterpeg.
