48MPHSlapShot
I'm always embarrassed when I'm watching a Chicago/Boston/L.A etc... game and I hear the music that they're playing. Dance music + Hockey = Dead crowd.
terrible.dee
I'm always embarrassed when I'm watching a Chicago/Boston/L.A etc... game and I hear the music that they're playing. Dance music + Hockey = Dead crowd. The music at Staples center isn't that great, for hockey that is. I remember hearing a lot of top 40 and a lot of Nickleback type red-state rock. And they do the South park pump up thing, which is the equivalent of the "Make some noise" thing. They always show the Sedins on the Kiss-cam though and draw a heart around them, that joke never gets old. The music in ANH has a local flavor to it, which I quite like, a lot of OC bands get played. terrible.dee
Rihanna on the PK Rihanna on the PP Horrible taste in electronic music cliche taste in rock no taste in rap he probably had no taste buds from eating all that crap rogers arena food. Ok, I can see why everyone is so happy. Rihanna is fine, if that's your thing, But that is NOT hockey music.

JaySwingDJ
Never say Never! There is still some buzz about The Rev's Monkey being either the regular season goal song or the intro number. Whichever one they choose, it promises to rawk!never, never ever, never ever ever.
etsen3
I dont think this will be a change for the better or worse. I'm anticipating the usual dance hits and electric garbage. This is Rogers Arena, remember. Was at the last preseason game, and this seemed to be the case, if anything it was worse. They might as well have just left the Beat 94.5 on. I enjoy almost all types of music, but for hockey you need something a little more aggressive.
