Mr. Ambien
The concept is not new, but it's being illustrated more overtly. So hackers are demonstrating with connected cars how to remotely: - Kill an engine - Cut the brakes - Control steering - Control windshield wipers - A lot of minor things (messing with the speedometer, control the radio and dash control panel, A/C, etc.) Of course, these guys have good intentions and can do this from any computer, but it's a serious security problem (and far more dire than "I can't browse porn on my computer for 2 hours while cleaning this virus out") if there's some type of concerted attack against cars. Lancaster
Does it work against all cars with the on-board computer. I'm just curious as to whether cars with the QNX OS is vulnerable too.
