Then Giguere, Reimer, Bernier and now Anderson have all been the next saviours (savers...;). Second, we are retaining our top ten picks. First thing Burke did to make a splash, was to trade a 2nd OA and a 7th OA for Kessel plus a second and third. He gave up more the he would have paid if he offer sheeted Kessel. People here complain about giving up 2nd rounders. Kessel, we know how that turned out. The Phanuel trade was okay, but paying him 7m for 7 years was really bad. Makes the Sbisa signing look decent. JB appears to have a much different eye and criteria for drafting, no one on this board can tell me that Burke and Nonis can draft better than JB with a straight face.
