How long have you been on the forum for?

I first came to the forum the day after the Canucks/Blackhawks line brawl of 2009.  Didn't say anything, just read all kinds of delusionally insane comments and laughed my a** off.

 

Been coming back ever since

I'd moved to Toronto and couldn't get good coverage on anything.

I'd been a fan all my years in BC, but it was just ubiquitous, you could pick up a paper anywhere and get a bunch of news.

It wasn't until moving out of BC that I had to really grind for updates and CDC was the place.

The Ohlund signing specifically was updated better here than anywhere else I could find.

 

Also, and I may have told this story prior, there was a moment when Luongo had come to Van but hadn't really put the team on his back yet. A random CDC'er was asking questions about opinions on his play, and I told him that Luongo had been fine, but he hadn't yet become great. The next game Lou pitched a shutout and really started becoming the true superstar.

I've always believed that poster was Lou himself and it was that interchange that helped him dig deeper.
