We wouldn't be giving up any assets to get him don't worry. He is a UFA at end of season. We would be helping out TOR for a cap trade. We take on Kerfoots remaining salary so TOR can be cap compliant going into the playoffs. What type of asset we get remains to be seen

Toronto would get two RHD with size for the playoffs. Which they need badly, they are all or nothing. We get a big 6'3 winger (drafted 2021 second round) All 3 of Holl, Kerfoot and Reese are UFA's at the end of the season. We open up 6 million in cap space for next season by getting rid of Myers.. It is just crazy how much Boeser's game has fallen off. Like he can't even shoot the puck anymore.. Much like how Loui went from 30 G in BOS to a flop with us. Except Boeser is doing his at 25 years old. How many times have we seen him actually rip a shot without whiffing on it? Crazy to see this type of decline at his age.

Like Grans but I'd also like to get Durzi Peterson (2 years left at 5 million is a big cap dump) Demko + Rathbone for Durzi, Cal Peterson (cap dump), Grans, LA's 2023 2nd, LA's 2024 second Breakdown Demko for Durzi, LA 2023 second Rathbone for Peterson(cap dump). Then Grans and the 2024 second is for us taking on 2 years at 5 million in dead money. LA gets a legit #1 starter in his prime.. They also need more left D than right hence why Rathbone is included here. He has some value and I believe still can make it. We get two young right shot D to bolster our blue line. In addition we add two second round picks to continue to stockpile draft capital. It seems at first glance LA is giving up a lot here and we are giving up nothing. But Peterson contract is terrible and the cost to move bad money is expensive. ( We gave up a second to move Dickinson who was only 2.65 million and we had to take back Stillman) This is a tough deal to pull off with Demko being injury prone but you can't discredit what he does when in net.
