@Ghostsof1915 They took the Pro Bowl away from Hawaii.  I doubt they'll ever even be seriously considered for a team.  You don't see very many pacific islanders playing professional football.

University of Hawaii is in division I college football.

They have a long tradition of excellence and support.

That's like saying a city doesn't support NHL hockey because they don't go nuts over the All Star Game. 

1.  Hawaii didn't lose the pro bowl because of lack of support.  What made you think that's what I was saying?

2.  There are cities all over the US that support D-1 football fanatically.  That doesn't mean that they are ever going to get an NFL team.

3.  I said "Pacific Islanders" in football, not former D-1 Hawaii players. 

Pacific Islanders are an actual race/creed of people.  They are a large people so you do find them playing the game and excelling at line positions and occasionally linebackers, but you aren't going to ever have a team mostly made up of Somoans etc.
