Good news: Demotion means he'll be fresh for when he comes over to NA.

Bad news: He was demoted for a reason.

Horrible news: When he doesn't even come over to NA.

Been reading that Gallagher "curse" piece, again?

Kassian.... Taylor Pyatt 3.0

Lies. He's more of a Steve Bernier. Hopefully his talent level goes up so he can become like a Taylor Pyatt.

If Jensen can bring more than Booth, maybe we can swap him for some help on D, or a center for the third line.

AIK loses! Yay! I'll let Nuxfan do his updates. Are they officially out yet? Never thought Eddie Lack would be the one that breaks the news to me

Yup, they're out. AIK lost 0-1. Brynas with a 3rd period goal and their goalie was the difference maker. Jensen had 3 shots (2 in the 3rd) but AIK is out of the playoff race. One more game and the SEL season is over for Jensen and AIK then he can come play for the Wolves.

Actually sad, due to jensen missing some playoff experience. I'd rather his team go a round or 2 then have him come back here, hopefully for a round of AHL playoffs.

You never want to see you prospect's team lose and miss the playoffs, but I think we all know the upside to this. Not long now until the Canucks' best prospect comes over to North America! Actually pretty excited!

I'm so ******* excited for this kid to play for us. I haven't been excited for a first round pick of the Canucks since... well, Cody.

In 2 years time I think him, Corrado, and Lack will be difference makers for this team.

No it will still be the Sedins, Kesler, Edler, Hamhuis, Bieksa Garrison and Luongo (or Schneider)...

Those three will still be role players.

So, the March 5th game vs Timra IK is AIK's final game of the season?

Predictions as to how long before Jensen laces 'em up w/ the Wolves? I say vs Rockford on the 10th.

Not sure if this has been posted anywhere yet but Jensen has held down his title of top prospect in our organization according to the lovely people at hockeysfuture:

http://www.hockeysfu...-season-top-20/

Nothing much to learn from this article but it's a good update on many of our prospects

I don't get how McEneny does cracking this top 20. From what he's shown this season he at least is in the 18-20 area for our prospect pool.

I would rather he come back and play with the Wolves, get used to NA hockey again and be available to be called up before the trade deadline so we can at least see how he does with the Canucks.

Well Jensen finishes off his SEL season today with 1 last goal in a 3-1 AIK win.

He finishes the season with 17 G 6 A 23 PTS in 50 GP.

Looks like he'll be playing this weekend for the Wolves too. Welcome back to North America!

Not sure. All I know is he was on the top line.

So likely around 17-18 minutes.

With that 17th goal Nicklas has officially become 11th on the all time regular season U20 goal scoring list. Above him are 1. Kent Nilsson (28), 2. Tomas Sandstrom (23), 3. Peter Forsberg (23), 4. Patric Hornqvist (23), 5. Markus Naslund (22), 6. Markus Naslund (22), 7. Daniel Sedin (21), 8. Tomas Sandstrom (21), 9. Jorgen Petterson (18), 10. Niklas Eriksson (18). Pretty solid company.

I'd be curious to see the goal per minute ratio for each of those players. Something tells me Naslund, Forsberg, and Daniel weren't regularly getting third and fourth line minutes.

@TysonGiuriato: Keep in mind, Nicklas Jensen can play up to five games with the Canucks this season without burning the first year of his contract.

I'd actually really like to see him play 5 games.
