Xbox
Either way, people take awfully long to pick a player. The first 5 rounds are suppose to be pretty easy because they are big name players, the later rounds are harder because they're the depth players that make the difference and it's harder pulling out sleepers/steals etc.
Xbox
I really like when its the NJD (odd rounds) and WSH (even rounds) time to draft. New Jersey Devils Minnesota Wild Nashville Predators Toronto Maple Leafs Pittsburgh Penguins Dallas Stars Boston Bruins Detroit Redwings Anaheim Ducks St.Louis Blues Los Angeles Kings Vancouver Canucks Edmonton Oilers Washington Capitals When all those consecutive teams draft, I notice it goes very very fast! Ilya Kovalchuk.
Agreed. My pick took me no time at all. How the player who came 6th in scoring last year was available round 3 is beyond me
Xbox
Maybe because he is on a team which barely makes the playoffs lol He is good, one of my favourite players, but I'd rather have a player, who may produce a little less in the regular season but carries it over to the post season. JohnTavares
Yup, people over analyze these first 5 rounds too much when they are all so close in points it barely matters. It's mostly luck if were talking early rounds but the later rounds is what defines a GM.

D.Doughty
How? Please enlighten me as to how that was "a bad pick". Cause he is on Columbus? HA! He was better on Columbus last year than he was LA. He is going to log a TON of minutes with the Jackets, and with not much depth behind him, he will be getting in an a majority of the Blue Jackets goals. I got my elite offensive defenceman for just over 4M in cap, which is a lot better than some of the "big name" defencemen.
