With the Coyotes last pick in the 2012 RGMG Entry Draft, Phoenix is proud to select: Kevin Roy, of the Lincoln Stars of the USHL.

http://www.ushl.com/news.php?news_id=1069

Kevin was named USHL's player of the year this past season and shattered records, one of the most famous was that he the first player to score 50 goals in the USHL since 1993 - it was Jason Blake back in 1993. Kevin became a youtube sensation at age 13 and he's lived up to the hype by becoming one of the most dominant players in the USHL and getting drafted into the NHL. We again are very glad to have picked up Kevin this late and will be working with him for the years to come. :)

We are very content with our selections in this years entry draft and look forward to developing our young, potential-full prospects and hope to see them take the next big step by making the NHL in the near future. Would also like to thank AGM Suter for helping out in the decision making process of our selections! :)

Chicago Blackhawks Draft Report

Matt Finn D

Solid two way defenseman, who was touted as a mid-to-late first round pick. Slipped to 35th in the NHL entry draft, but we thought he was a safe bet to make the NHL. Related to NHL'r Carlo Colaiacovo.

Brock McGinn LW

Another safe bet to make the NHL. A gritty, energetic, hardworking player, who projects as a 3rd/4th liner. He is the younger brother of NHL'r Jamie McGinn.

Nikolai Prokhorkin LW

Nikolai is a big body at 6'3, great size for the wing. Extremely skilled, injuries and the "Russian" factor, had him drop in the NHL draft, but we believe he has the upside to be a top 6 player.

Calle Andersson D

A swedish defenseman, with great size. Ranked 15th amongst European skaters, Calle is an offensive minded defenseman, with excellent skating ability and skill. He has some great upside if he works on defense. Son of former NHL'r Peter Andersson.

We are happy with our selections, good to have players with some NHL bloodlines. ;)

SOB for MVP will be BPA'd at 6 PM.
