Getting Garrison at 2.5m would be a steal...but will never happen. Try 5m.

Schultz also can only sign a max 2 year entry-level contract.

Have you seen any of the packages CBJ has been asking for in return for Nash? Apart from Luongo being enticing, they don't want Raymond and Parent, and a 5th rounder means nothing to them.

The other side is why would Luongo waive his NTC to go to Columbus? If there was any deal with them, it would have had to have been for Schneider's rights.

The Nash deal isn't nearly enough, That's probably not enough for Nash, let alone adding in Mason, and Garrison won't sign at 2 or he would have signed with FLA a long time ago.

And that 2nd line is weak, as is the Bottom 6, not much of an upgrade aside from adding Nash which won't happen with that offer.

Luongo would never go to the BlueJackets.
