Peejay
They just announced that Wild signed Suter and Parise. They will be a powerhouse next season. Edmonton is also on the rise. Wonder if we can defend the Northwest division title ...

Sneetch
Good competition makes us stronger. I loved it when the Northwest was the best division in hockey.
Berto91
I disagree with them being a powerhouse, but they're much improved, it'll be interesting to see what happens with the rest of the free agency and any trades that arise. But, well done to Wild for managing these deals.

VancouverStyle
Should make for some entertaining hockey, i could still see Calgary and Colorado struggling again next season. Edmonton with all the young talent they have probley wont finish dead last again...
shafman
I'm kinda worried. A big move needs to be made soon.

Blueberries
Minny are not powerhouses, never will be,but there good signings maybe they will make the playoffs. EDM still sucks.
Spitfire_Spiky
Does it ever make our Division harder. I feel bad for Calgary, of all the teams in the division making improvements they just can't seem to keep up with everyone else.

Tiburon
How is the NW now one of the toughest? Colorado and Calgary havent done anything. Edmonton added Schultz whos never played in the NHL before.
Cup2013?
I wouldn't say Edmonton is great. None of their young stas have yet to play a full season due to injuries because the franchise rushes boys to play with men. Minnesota got a lot better. But wouldnt say they are a powerhouse. Also wouldn't say the Northwest is the toughest division. Unless you meant toughest travel. Then yes. It will be nice to see a team maybe challenge the Canucks for division this season. But still lots of time in the offseason. Only time will tell.
uber_pwnzor
I still think we're gonna win it, at least the two next years. Then Edmonton will be really good.
CanucksFanMike
it is ok... suter will just get scortched by the twins and parise will get shut down by schneids. The only difference is that we wont lock up the division in february
our time is now
Bob Mckenzie reported that Parise has agreed to terms with the wild. Now with that that just make the NW harder to play against then last year
