Tony Romo
An offer sheet does nothing really. It's not like it's real life were te owners limit you. An offer sheet would be jusT like your re signing him.

UMB
My thoughts as well, Im not sure why UMB is so distraught about gm's offersheeting him. He can simply match, and get a top 5 dman locked up. Not like he would have taken a hometown discount or something.
Imuzi
Um Tuukka Rask isn't an RFA yet. Still has a year to go in his deal After seeing what happened when I dealt away my first I don't think I'll be offer sheeting anyone.

SOB for MVP
Washington has agreed in principle to 3 deals, still looking to make more. Top 4 dman in Roman Hamrlik still available, looking to trade defensive and shootout specialist Matt Hendricks, tough guy dman John Erskine, Jay Beagle, and Joel Ward

Dion Phaneuf
UFA Greg Zanon belongs to Boston. *I'll be honest The Minnesota Wild are about to become very European
F.Underwood
Maybe because I don't want to spend 10M for one year and then have him walk in UFA next season? At least that's why PK is gonna offersheet
UMB
Why would weber accept a one year deal, when your probably offering him a long term, big money deal?

WillyFox
Or he could walk, test the waters, find a team he wants to sign with, and get a HUGE inflated contract due to free-agency.

Patrick Kane
If someone signs that player to a 1 year deal worth 10 million dollars, he should easily accept the offer-sheet. Why? If its a top contending team, he gets paid 10 million dollars and plays for a chance at the cup. Ideal for him, its a one year contract, so right after he can leave and sign a nice, big, long term contract with anyone he wants. This is STHS, not the NHL, theres no change in CBA, decline in cap, or that bs. This player will likely to get a ton of money if he hits FA. The team is stuck with four first rounders, but they will likely be in the 20-30 range. If they match, they can't trade the player, because of the rules of matching an offersheet. He will most likely walk and they are screwed.
