Well, tbh my Dad was born in Paraguay, but his parents were only there to escape the war. He was only there 7ish years, so I don't know if that counts.

It does if you want it to, but to be honest I don't think it really does. :P (I know, big help right?)

Much of my family has been in North America since the 1600's, Canada as well as loyalists who came here around the American Revolution and War of 1812. Prior to that it's mostly English, Scottish, Irish, and some Prussian.

I am half Irish and half Scottish. Half of me wants to drink and the other half doesn't want to pay for it.

I and all before me were born on and Island somewhere (recent ones Vancouver Isle) so I am not a mainlander by heart.

I killed a grizzly bear simply typing out this post.

The literal translation of "Belarus" is "White Russia". You're 1/4 Belarussian, I assume.

It's definitely possible. No one seems to have a very good idea where that part of the family actually lived before moving here. They also have absolutely no explanation for how both my grandmother's parents ended up with german last names. I'm inclined to think they're just making it up as they go.
