A few different artwork pieces have leaked over the last few days from a couple different game retailers from Europe. Rockstar hasn't come out and said whether these are fakes or not but they have been deleting all comments mentioning the pieces on their website.

Update: Rockstar has revealed that a new trailer for is coming soon. It was originally intended earlier but was delayed by the recent hurricane in New York. The publisher posted the following statement on its official site:

"We are working on a second trailer - unfortunately Hurricane Sandy has derailed our plans somewhat but we will have something to show soon. Its hard to be precise as we have no power whatsoever in our New York office. We hope everyone else in affected areas is doing okay."

At GameStop, players also receive a double-sided poster, and a reader tells IGN that each GameStop store will receive only 15 viewers and 100 posters. The same reader provided IGN with the following picture of one of the photo viewers:

So it looks like the viewers are really rare and odds are most employees will hold those items for their friends or themselves saying they are already sold out. I'm going to attempt to be there on the 5th when they open to try and pre-order just to see what they say.

I'm gonna go today since they've already been giving them out all over the place. Really hope I can get ahold of one of those viewers.

The long wait is over at last. With the December issue, Grand Theft Auto V fans can pore over every detail we could get about Rockstar Games' highly anticipated sequel. Over the course of 18 pages (our biggest cover story yet!), we introduce the three main protagonists, discuss the groundbreaking way you use them, and explore the reimagined Los Santos – the biggest open world Rockstar has created to date. The massive feature also divulges and dissects many more aspects of the game fans won't want to miss.

In addition to our GTA V blowout, Joe Juba interviews Will Wright and others to tell the oral history of Maxis (celebrating its 25th anniversary this year), and takes the new SimCity for a spin. We also devote six pages to exploring the islands of Far Cry 3, discuss the impact of Cliff Bleszinksi leaving Epic Games, and share our top gift picks in the 2012 holiday buying guide. I'm kinda iffy on the idea of three different main protagonists but I have faith in Rockstar to make it work.

Edit: Here's the entire 23 page reveal from Game Informer.

Wow! The game is gonna be bigger than San Andreas, GTA IV, and Red Dead Redemption put together

The bulk of information on Grand Theft Auto V was revealed recently through the cover story of the latest Game Informer. GTA V will have three characters which you will be able to switch between at any moment, unless if you're in a mission, where you get the option to switch characters at certain points. Also revealed was that the world in the game will be bigger than the worlds of GTA: San Andreas, Red Dead Redemption, and GTA IV combined.

The playable characters are Michael, Trevor, and Franklin. Michael is a retired bank robber in his early forties who lives in a posh estate with his spiteful wife, bratty teenage daughter and 20-year old son. He is in the witness protection program, but manages to live a luxurious life due to a deal with the FIB. He is forced to return to a life of crime because his wife's spending habits are making his money run dry. Trevor is an ex-military pilot who is prone to fits of rage. He resides in a desert region that is full of bikers and drug addicts. He is an old friend of Michael's and joins him for another heist. Franklin is a hustler in his mid twenties working for an Armenian car dealership as a repo man. He comes in contact with Michael after targeting him for a hustle.

When asked why the game world was so big, Houser explained that LA is geographically the largest city in the world and that the company has only scratched the surface of the city in the past. "We felt we hadn't done that with San Andreas - which was these very small, sketchlike cities," vice president of creative Dan Houser explained. "The geography you could get outside Los Angeles is spectacular," added Houser. "The contrast between desert/rural Southern California, inland from LA and just a bit north, compared to LA, gives you a great microcosm of red state/ blue state theme - different vibes culturally as much as geographically. I think that was something we really felt would be good about this location."
