zejono
Is it just the TV or is the crowd at Rogers always very silent until they score a goal? When other teams play the crowd is so loud.
Scottish⑦Canuck
Yeah, it's pretty awful. I think there was a thread on this a few days ago though.
Ugli Fruit
Because they want CDC to wonder about it and make several threads a day devoted to the topic. Is it that hard to search the board?
The Magician
Actually I was at the game yesterday and it was very loud. I thought the same thing until I actually went, I guess they tune the crowd out a little bit on TV.

Markus Alexander Cody
Normally, it's quiet.. Like the Avs game, it was dead silent... But against an opposing rival, and a much hated rival lemme add to that, it'll be louder.. Oilers games are getting louder and if the Bruins show up here next season, it'll be one loud evening. I think LA games will get louder and louder as slowly but surely, the Kings are becoming one of our hated teams as well
-Vintage Canuck-
Why can't it always be like it was last night?
canidiot
if all games played are as good as last night, it will be loud. i dont know about you but i cheer for good plays. cheering just to hear myself cheer, thats just sad. for those of you who compare it to nfl, its not the same. the home crowd has found a way to cheat for their team. much like the balloons that are handed out in basketball to distract freethrow shots. hockey is a great game. lets not ever let the crowd influence the game. support your team but let it be a fair match. Dr. Recchi
My friend was at the game and he texted me saying it was pretty loud in there but usually it is pretty quiet. Man, I can't wait for the playoffs...
Christophe
The crowd is the worst in the NHL IMO. It was pretty good against Chicago, mostly because of all the boo'ing @ Keith.

Hockey Fever
It's because the crowd is mostly corporate and their concentrating on wheeling & dealing. After all their the only ones that can afford the ridiculous ticket prices. It's really pretty sad.

MrsCanuck
I feel as if the sound is significantly quieter on TV. When I go to games and know it's been extremely loud, people on here always say it seemed quiet.

kmotamed
On TV, the crowd sounds are purposely silenced and muffled by the microphones so we can enjoy the game and listen to the sportscasters instead of ambient sounds!
