I don't know what team you have been watching if you don't think the Nucks need help on the 2nd line (RW). Are you thinking that they are playoff ready with Hansen or Higgins in that role?

It remains to be seen if Jensen can make the jump to the NHL this year, but it wouldn't be unusual for a 20yr old to do so. After all, he has had quite an impact in the SEL playing against men. He will have time to prove himself on theWolves and if he can maintain his game, he will get a chance with the Canucks.

But close to it. It's been 3 years since anyone broke out on wing on our 2knd line. Sooner or later we need someone to arrive talented enough to work off all the other things Kesler does well. Really it does not matter whether it's a guy for the 1st or 2knd; because Burrows will kick start the 2knd if he falls back onto that line.

Or a 3rd line centre has to emerge making an alternate line offensively dangerous (which means the 4th has to be the 2knd defensive unit, ala when Hodgson was here and Manny/Lappy played 4th). But that requires more re-invention of the core roles we have in place at the moment.

A lot of roles fall in to play with the emergence of a game breaking sniper.

edit; and take a look at the LA game? Raymond and Hansen both scored goal scorers goals, sniping from the slot to break the game. We have guys who can do it, but not at the 30 goal rate which consistently takes pressure off the top line to score all our goals; a key down fall of the last few years.
