Pears
Kesler sucked last year when he was healthy.
Tangelos
But you said he was healthy.
pimpcurtly
If your team strategy depends on a player who has been injured for most of the last two years, then it's ot a very good strategy. Trait would be like if the bruins had been counting on Marc savard to lead them to the cup in 2011.
Tangelos
No, we have two types of fans: jaded and deluded. The delusional ones always think we are one step away from the cup. Most of them haven't been fans very long.
pimpcurtly
If you're playing you're healthy. Don't care if he's b!%ching about his shoulder, foot, hip or whatever other body parts were broken. Fact is IF YOU ARE PLAYING YOU ARE HELD JUST AS ACCOUNTABLE AS EVERYONE ELSE. If he was soooo badly injured he shouldn't have been playing. Clearly he was healthy enough to play one of the most physical sports in the world.
Tangelos
Interesting philosophy. So I guess the games that Kes played this year...he didn't actually have a fractured foot.

pimpcurtly
Okay so whenever Kesler plays like a 12 year old school girl and he comes out and says he's playing with a ruptured testicle the next day, we should all just give him a free pass. Okay buddy, gotcha.

Tangelos
lol yes cuz playing with a ruptured testicle is even remotely close to playing with a fractured foot.
pimpcurtly
You'd rather have a fractured foot than ruptured testicle? Are you a girl? Because then I would understand.
Tangelos
No what I'm saying is, unlikely anyone could play with a ruptured testicle. Kesler had a couple Xrays on the foot which came up negative so he kept playing through it. Upon a 3rd MRI, it was determined that he did, in fact, have a fractured foot. Get it? CrippledCanuck
Except that we played worse with Kesler in the lineup.
pimpcurtly
Again, it's irrelevant. He shouldn't be playing unless he's 100%. No Kesler is better than a useless Kesler. The record with him in the lineup doesn't lie. Do you get it?

Primus099
We don't have Kesler. Our 2nd line is Booth Lapierre Kassian Other teams with the same amount of points as us; Detroit and Pittsburg Their 2nd lines are Franzen-Zetterberg-Bertuzzi Kennedy-Malkin-Neal So wise Canucks fans why should we have MORE points than these two teams, with no Kesler? Because our defense and depth in goaltending should make us perennial contenders even with 14 million dollars of salary injured? You're truly moronic to think we should be even higher in the standings with a 1/4 of our salary out for large chunks of the year. It's not like we're not competing either we had 40 shots against SJ. Canucks fans are such bandwagoners it hurts.
