I liked a lot of what I saw. I nice mix of offence and steady backcheck. Also made a nice hit. Keep him up there.

The 2nd line was the best out there but I thought Weise was dangerous. He has the speed and perhaps his hands will catch up. If so he has 3rd line potential. His speed makes up for a lot of deficencies.

I think Ballard makes a pretty solid winger. Maybe they should consider keeping him there.

Wouldn't it be funny if Ballard becomes the winger we wanted in Booth? lol

He's got tremendous wheels and acceleration (booth is slow out of the gates but fast once he's moving) ballard is one step full flight, one of the best skaters on the team

We know he has hands, he can hit, not scared to mix it up...hmm.

I would like to see more of him there...didn't see the game yesterday but seems like everyone is commending his play...heck try him with hank and daniel

Keep Ballard on the wing for the next 5 games. One of our most exciting wingers to watch.

Ballard has no puckhandling skills as a forward. Quit dreaming.

I though Ballard played like exactly what he is... A mediocre defenceman filling in at forward.

Would rather have Booth healthy or give Jensen a look-see.

Edit: Oh, yeah... Was that not the weirdest, worst-played game you have seen in a long time?

I'm confused by your post. Ballard played with a lot of tenacity in a position he's not accustomed to playing and I thought he did a good job. In a roster already stocked to the brim with inexperienced AHL players, I think a defensive minded veteran on the third line in Ballard was a pretty good decision.

Concerning your edit, are you talking about last night's game against Phoenix because if you are than you watched a different game than I did.
