pimpcurtly
I think you have a very one dimensional understanding of what being a fan is about. We are the same people that buy tickets, jerseys, hats, sweaters, whatever. The same people who line up for hours just to see Kesler, Burrows or Raymond at Best Buy even if it's just for a quick minute to get an autograph and a photo. Part of being an attentive and open minded fan is being critical when it's called for. If the team is playing poorly, the fans should have an input. After all, if the team isn't playing for the fans, what are they playing for? If in your opinion, being a fan is blindly loving whatever club it is I choose, I'd call that senseless and absolutely ridiculous. I'm not going to spend $200 on tickets because it's the only NHL team in Vancouver.. I do it because I love this team and know that every time they play, they're trying to win for this city. Sixteen W's
stop criticizing every little detail of your “favourite” team……..I dont see any of you as a GM or as a player. Honestly support your team thats what your supposed to do.
DeNiro
Reading the Oilers board after their loss, and comparing it to this board after a loss makes you realize how true this is. Fans of this team turn on them at the drop of a hat after a loss. Pretty sad.

CanucksLegacy
Guy has a point (except it's not ALL fans though, just select few). When Canucks lose, I see it quite often the negative being emphasized, such as: Booth not potting it in, Edler not playing physical enough, etc. I'd like to see more of: "I thought ---- played well that game, o even though we lost I think we'll turn it around we didn't play that bad, etc ". I'm an optimist of course (no that doesn't mean I think we can get anyone with a Ballard+Booth+1st package, that's just homerism) and I prefer to look on the positive side of different scenarios. I realize there's a need for criticism at times...but in my opinion, the criticism should NEVER outweigh the support, win or lose.
