Nuxfanabroad
Philly & Van are both weak at D..don't think they're dance partners. Though I bet they might be looking critically at their 'tendng. Anyways, this deal rips them badly. If we ever deal with Winn, go after one of their younger D prospects.
VanGnome
I also don't think that Philly wants Sbisa back... At least points for not targeting Kane from Winnipeg.
da.moose
Winnipeg will not trade their 1st round draft pick this season.
Baka
No real point in that for Philly. Bonino is a downgrade on Couturier. Sbisa is a downgrade on Coburn. Weber is better than the 5th but both are really irrelevant throw ins. Cassel's potential is better than Raffl. Philly's roster comes out worse and significantly weaker defensively (all around not defensemen exclusive). Cassel's is a nice addition to the prospect pool but a significant enough boost IMO to warrant how much Philly gives up. I would feel if that much is given up Philly should see a noticeable improvement on offense, defense, or simple prospects.
Monty
Philly says no for obvious reasons. Winnipeg says no because: - Winnipeg would rather have Galiardi - Hutchison is cheaper than Lack; both are unproven - Richardson doesn't slot into their top 4, as Perreault and Slater have the 3rd and 4th line locked up - 1st round draft pick is just ludicrous for them to give up
