Free agent forward Jordan Eberle appears to be garnering unheard of interest as several teams are embroiled in what can only be described as a bidding war for Jordan's services. Expecting a spike in production this season and teams have taken notice. Jordan appears to be leaning towards the Beastly Eastern Conference at this point......time will tell!

Woah!

We are awfully excited by this signing!  Welcome Jumbo Joe, a legend. Many thanks Mike!

There is no NTC or NMC, but if we have our way you will retire a champion, in the City of Champions!

We think it's a perfect signing. The chance to mentor Pavel Zacha, teach him to be a PP specialist & the discipline to be a top line forward. But offer him the time, so he does not have to rush to be so right away. Allow Tyler Bozak to be a match up & 2knd line center, critical in today's playoffs. Give zip to our PP in general; I bet Justin Faulk will be excited? And time to blood some of our young forwards like Rasmus Asplund, Lias Anderson, Tyler Benson & Henrik Borgstrom without rushing them into the line up either.

As much as its big money? We are also hoping to attract a 2knd pairing D to shelter & mentor Pouliot & Honka, add pop to our D core. We do have just over $8 mill to further improve our club. Also a backup goalie or perhaps a dangerous winger? Hopefully more UFA's are watching?

We also gratefully welcome Julius Honka, who is now signed! Derek Pouliot & our guarded secret, PMD Jakub Jerabek. Who laid waste to the Czech leagues, played well in the KHL and very well at both the WC's & WJC's (10 points in 12 games) the last two years, and in his junior days respectively. Here is our current depth chart;

Nielson Thornton Frolik

Hagelin Bozak Kulemin

Moulson Zacha Folino

Lappin Paquette Gionta

            Josefson

        Klefbom Faulk

       _____ Jerabek

        Sustr  Honka

     Pouliot Dahlbeck

Pekka Rinne  ________

The West Coast Eagles;

 Nick Paul Henrik Borgstrom Axel Holmstrom

Justin Kirkland Christian Thomas Casey Bailey

Max Friberg Caleb Herbert Landon Ferraro

        Lukas Bengtsson Mattias Backman

          Jesper Lindgren Kenny Morrison

               Zach Trotman  ________

Mantas Armalis Cris Driedger Colin Stevens

RFA Matt O'Connor Cole Ully Ahti Oksanen

I have to say I like the new GM's bold moves on his roster.

Ecstatic to get Victor signed long term - we went long term to keep the cap hit manageable.

Hedman will be on our first pair, first PP and first PK for the duration of this contract.

SIGNING: The Las Vegas Golden Knights have signed defenseman Oscar Fantenberg to a two year deal.

First, want to thank @Mike Vanderhoek for all his work. He has a lot on his plate right now with all the offers he has to juggle. It's a thankless job. I know.

Second, I'm very happy to bring on Oscar Fantenberg. Waiting to hear back from one more free agent, and my summer is complete. All about quality, not quantity here in Vegas. After a very strong expansion draft and a strong entry draft, I truly feel as though the Knights can be a playoff team next year. And with the addition of Fantenberg, he'll be a terrific replacement on the backend, should one of my defensemen go down with an injury.

SIGNING: The Tampa Bay Lightning have signed defenseman Deryk Engelland to a one year deal.

tam_nonWhite.1_70x70.png  Deryk Engelland: 1 year, $ 1.0 million dollar contract ( $ 1,000,000.00 per season ).

Pleased to have Deryk aboard. He will provide tougness to our whole organization, something that is lacking as we did not re-sign Tom Sestito or Michael Haley, as well as leadership to young defenceman like Matthew Benning and Jordan Schmaltz next season. Thanks Mike!
