    Craig Button offered some words of encouragement on THN last night.  Said the rebuild is going to be a lot faster than most people realise and we got a fairly well stacked pool of prospects at every position.

      Actually isn't not a "RE" anything. Linden and Benning have the memo from ownership to use the word "TRANSITION" from now on moving from an older veteran core to a new younger core.

      Fair enough. For the record I think owners didn't let a more significant rebuild happen sooner, but that's just my opinion. Elliott did deliver that comment with a sly look though. I just took it as his normal face delivering a normal blunt observation that I felt might not have been entirely incorrect.

      I think this season was a big slap in the telling ownership or management or whoever that whatever glory was left in the tank is now gone. Trading Hansen and Burr really solidified that. They could've kept both for the sake of veteran leadership but chose to collect assets instead. I appreciate the need for veteran leadership but at this deadline I was happier to see the young assets gained.
