Jake Virtanen is the fastest skater in this years draft. Nash isn't slow, but Virtanen is faster.

That could happen too. If Vey has a great rookie year I could see him in the top 6(in the future). Right know, I think he still has the potential to be so. But let's wait and see.

I'm a niner fan and CK will probably get better. If he doesn't, the niners will be in trouble but obviously we still have great players to win. Like the defense and the offensive line (receiving core can get worse if CK gets worse).

All I'm saying is I don't think Horvat is a 3rd liner. The only way I see him getting pushed back is if someone really improves. I even think we will make the playoffs and getting Barzal is improbable. I never said I want us to tank, just think Horvat will be a future top 6 player unless we get elite prospect, he will be a great 2-way center playing in the top 6.

It means Horvat is a 2nd liner but a Barzal and a better McCann can push him into 3C

Gets 74 points in 54 games... Gets called a future 3rd liner.... Bergeron or O'reilly never had a better season in the juniors than Horvat did last year. Horvat has the MOST potential to be a 2nd liner.... He can be a 1st liner too. If he's turns out as a 3rd liner, it will mean we get a lottery pick next year and McCann gets better offensively. Right know, Horvat growed a lot in potential, and looks like a top 6 2-way forward. Edit:typos

Is he 6'6 or 6'7? Either way he's big and good defensively. Won't go as far as saying Chara 2.0 but he still has the potential to be a great defensemen.

My point is, Nuge will be a 70-80 point scorer still, and he was a 1st overall pick. Do you really see him better than Nuge or even the same?

I'd be happy if he's a great bottom 6 forward.
