I do. He starts in the minors, comes up and sits, then gets 2 games where I thought he did ok playing with Gauds. He went into the corners and dug out the puck. Made good passes, set up scoring attempts. Like to see him with Bo but did have chemistry with Gauds. I'm more disappointed with Jake. He's a turnover machine. Right now I think you could send him to the minors and he'd clear wavers. He's been given every chance here but it's looking more and more like his Jr record was just the result of a big kid playing with smaller kids. I know power forwards take awhile to mature but I bet this kid gets passed by others in the organization . I await the flames from the Jake fans.

Don't get all the hate for Baer. He's looked good to me. I think he needs to play with Pete. He's got the hands and skill to play with him.

I thought the Baer, Gaudette, Miller line looked good. Still not sold on Myers

I like Baer playing with Bo and Miller but I think he could play with Pete too. He's got the puck skills.

Not impressed with Myers and see nothing special about Jake.

I agree that Gaunce needs new senery. I don't agree that he's slow. Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't he one of the fastest skaters in the in the speed trials. He had great chemistry with Sutter, the two had lots of break aways. Personally I think he was misused and not used because of existing contracts. Wishing him the best.

Is Gaunce injured ? He hasn't been in the Utica lineup the last two games.

That was my point. He hasn't been put in any offensive situations here. He's been used as a defensive specialist . As far as not putting up points in the AHL neither did Goldy. In 2016-2017 in the minors Goldy had 15 goals, 26 assists for 41 points in 46 games. Gaunce at Utica in 2015-2016 had 17 goals,21 assists for 38 points in 46 games. I don't think Gaunce will ever be a scoring phenom but there is some offensive upside there.

As far as Gaunces lack of offensive stats he hasn't really been put in any offensive situations. If you give him the opportunity to play with Bo for 10 games like Goldy had he might surprise. This summer he needs to do like Kesler did when developing his shot, fire 100+ pucks a day.

You're wrong when you say he's not fast, doesn't hit and doesn't block shots. He's one of our most developed prospects the only thing missing is his scoring touch but I believe that will come. I can see him replacing Sutter in a couple of yrs. I like Archibald and Motte too. Isn't it nice to have the problem of too much depth.

Ya, he's looked better the last two games. Looks like Green might finally be getting thru to him like he has Jake.

He doesn't make good passes, he loses the puck constantly, he doesn't check, he doesn't play physical, he occasionally scores a goal.

I'd like to see Gaunce and Jake on a line together. Think we'd see lots of breakaways and 2 on 1's. Gaunce and Sutter also have good chemistry.

Play Gaunce with Sutter. They have chemistry. Both great defensively and both create a ton of chances.

I'd like to see Gaunce on a line with Sutter and Granlund. Great shut down line with some offensive upside. Pay attention next time Gaunce is in the lineup to how many times the play by play guy mentions his name. It may surprise some of you.

Unfair to compare him to the Sedins. I'd say he's more like "no hands Hanson" .

I though Booth was on fire the first period and he didn't get a sniff on the power play.

As far as Weise' skating speed goes, I think I recall AV using him on the PK last year. Seemed fine there. I'll judge this trade at the end of the season.
